I bought this from EDS recently because of all the great reviews that I've read about it here. It's supposed to be for sensitive skin (which I don't have) but everybody kept raving about what it can do for skin reactions that I thought it'd be good to have something like that on hand. Plus someone said something about it smelling great (it does!) and that had me hooked too Then I heard that it was being replaced by the Harmonie Delicate Soothing Emulsion (and Thoughtcrime said that the original is better) so I definitely wanted to try it by then.
I've used it on myself and I think it's a nice cream. However, because I don't have sensitive skin, I didn't really get to experience how good this cream really is. You might have read in one of my recent posts, however, that my other half's face earlier this week was looking rather terrible (sorry hun! ). He had a red flaky rash on his forehead above the eyebrows, same around his nose, and more flaking on his chin. I think his skin isn't too impressed with the temperature/humidity changes at the moment.
Anyways, he was desperate to get rid of it (it did look really bad!) and said that if I gave him something to try he would definitely try and it stick with it. Very out of character for him because he's not a big fan of skincare at all.
To cut the long story short (though it might be a bit late for that now ) he's used it for the last five days now and it's an incedible difference! On day 2 the flakyness was reduced and the bumps were not as raised but the redness was still there. Day three - no more flakes. The day after that his skin was smooth but you could still tell it was a bit blotchy. Last night his skin was back to normal. I'm very impressed, both with the cream and with the fact that he actually used something that he considers very girlie
I'm really glad I bought this. I won't use it regularily (because I've got other stuff I must use up first ) but it's great to have this on hand in case something goes wrong with my (or my family/friends) skin.

Hello Mabsy,
I'm so glad that your love's skin is back to normal. I had a flare-up on my neck and my chin on the Friday before last, due to the abrupt change in temperature too ( from 10 to 28 in a few hours). I forgot to put sunscreen on my neck before I left the house and after a few hours walk in the sunshine (so happy) I was crying with itchy red hot rashes on all over my neck and my chin. I was so worried that it would spread to my eyes ( the worst place to have angry skin), so I stopped everything else and used only Decleor Harmonie for my eyes and my face down to my neck. Funny, I ordered some extra stuffs to use: Decleor Harmonie Night Balm and Harmonie Soothing Lotion and as soon as the parcel arrived, the rash was also gone. I could tell exactly when it left me, no kiddin' ! suddenly my neck felt so cool, just like an evil spirit was just exorcised Well, I am not complaining that I don't have a reason to use Decleor Harmonie now but to have all these good stuffs in stock, I feel so good and so ready for any future flare-ups. Good to be back and chat with you again. I was so busy in the last couple weeks and then the flare-up really put me down. I think stress was one of the reasons too as you always said. Hope in reading these wonderful posts I will feel happy again. I'm jumping to "Spring Lip Gloss" post now...See ya! |
