I know the change is coming, but I keep getting the e-mails asking me if I want to switch now. I don't like change! Confused

I did switch and they gave me a nice 2GB of space but i switched back because the interface was annoying. I dont see anything wrong with old school hotmail...just give us more space!

Nope and I haven't gotten any emails. Although I did noticed my inbox increased to 1gb of mail space. I don't use Windows XP so I can't switch anyways, I like my 2000.

Supposedly, we can either switch over now, quietly, voluntarily (to the beta version) or they will be making us switch down the road. Hotmail is eventually going to be replaced by Windows Live Mail and there won't be the option to go back to hotmail if we don't like it. I tried the beta version previously and asked for good old Hotmail back. The e-mail that I received said that they have used some of the feedback from the earlier beta version and made some improvements. Oh, I don't do change well. Shock

Yahoo also has a Beta version. I so prefer the old version.

I don't think it's necessarily faster to use, e.g. I have to click to give permission everytime i want them to display images in my emails. The images in old Hotmail load automatically. Also they don't have the option to delete all junkmail, unlike old Hotmail. I have to manually delete them one by one. Annoying.

This is perhaps a little off topic, do any members use Microsoft Vista and how do you find it compared to Windows XP?

I did switch to Windows Live Mail when it was first presented, but didn't like it and switched back. Just found the old version more clear (prob because I was used to it - I don't do change well either), and it seems faster. I hope that they improve it before it becomes mandatory.

Does anyone know what the Windows Live Mail do for you? I noticed that my inbox has increased to 1 gb as well. Thanks.
