I cannot rave enough about John Master's Citrus and Neroli Detangler - you can rinse out OR leave-in and I use it on my dry processed hair as a leave in all the time. It works great and never weighs my fine hair down! |

Hi leidon, I recently discovered SudzzFX - I have naturally curly hair so it's very dry. I have noticed a huge difference with this conditioner, and a little truly goes a long way. I bought a 33 oz. bottle in August and it's not even half way used.
I comb this through in the shower, rinse and when I get out of the shower I put a little bit more in, work it through with my fingers, then add some jojoba oil and it combats most of the frizzies. [except on ultra humid days, then I need even more help] but these two are an unbeatable combination for leave in conditioner! Doesn't weigh your hair down at all! |

It's a bit of a hit or miss, but I've used Aussie's Deeeep (which used to be called 3-minute miracle) for years. I adore it, and it's cheap. |

sormuimui, does the John Masters Citrus and Neroli Detangler have silicones or parabens in it? Do you order it online or buy locally? Asking, because I thought I saw JM at Whole Foods. |

I love using Giovanni Direct Leave-In Conditioner. It's very light. |

Thanks, sormuimui. I've been wanting to give Saffron Rouge a try, so may order there if I can't get this at Whole Foods. Not to mention SR seems like a great site with lots of good organic lines that I'm interested in. |

Hi Leidon,
If you have a favorite conditioner after you use it and rinse it out you can put a pea sized amount in your hair and leave it in, especially on the ends, without weighing it down.
You don't need a seperate conditioner, unless you preffer the type that you spray in.
Take care.

Thanks Bosoxy for the tip on leaving a bit of my conditioner in my hair as a leave-in. I don't know why I never thought of that. I currently use Biolage Ultra Hydrating Balm & am having good results. Lately my hair has been VERY dry from over-processing. It's actually starting to fall out! I'm also looking into hair growth products. |

You're welcome.
Since you are having good results, you may as well try leaving a bit of that in first before you have to start experimenting with other products.
You might want to check the DIY oil treatments for an afternoon or evening when you have the time. I had a good one in a spa magazine that I told myself I would remember and I cannot recall where I put it! If I remember that safe place I will write it up for you in case you are interested.
Take care.

Leidon, have you looked at the Nexxus line? Read up on their Vita Tress and Aloxxi reconstructors and see what you think about them. I'm looking for a good leave-in conditioner that I can spray on that will increase the elasticity in my hair. I'm using Nioxin's Bliss leave-in, but I don't think its really working to prevent breakage, so am thinking of trying the Nexxus products out. |

Wella has a nice one that I have been using for about 3 weeks. It is really improving my hair health. |

I have a spray conditioner that I just love! It might not be "conditioning" enough for what leidon needs, but if someone has fine hair prone to static flyaways (like mine) this might be a good one to try.
It's Alterna's "Life" line and it's the Volumizing Leave-in Conditioner (green bottle shaped like a bamboo stalk). It's a bit pricey, available at Ulta, but it really works. My hair is short enough right now that I'm not using any conditioner in the shower (makes my hair limp), but I use this when the static is out of control & it doesn't weigh my hair down at all... |
