do you think it's still effective? When i first sampled this, it was a light champagne color, then when I purchased the full size, the color was dark amber. From all I've read online, I thought the darkening in color means the Vit C has oxidized and is no longer effective. I emailed IS Clinical about this, and they say it's okay and still guaranteed effective. I posted about this on another board, and the consensus was that the product had oxidized, was not effective and company was just feeding my a line. Any thoughts or info appreciated. This stuff is expensive!
Thanks! |

I don't know for sure, but I'd ask them to replace it anyway in case it had. I wouldn't want to take the chance. |

I second what Tosca said! Also, just an fyi...I had a bottle of the IS Super Serum and it was fine (clear) when I first received it, but turned faster than any C serum I've used. |

I think it has gone off, and if you read Tangel's post on Vit C - if you use it it will only cause more free radical damage to your skin.
Not worth ruining your skin when you paid that amount to make it better. Try Candescence's next time, there are some rave reviews on it in this forum. |

Also, next time, keep it in the fridge. I have a little sample size I fill once a week & keep the full size in the fridge. I learned the trick from the EDS forums. |

Dark amber sounds waaay off...I mean, slight yellow I'd say "go ahead and use it" but dark amber?
Negative.

Mine turns darker as it sits on my bathroom counter. I don't notice it being any less effective though. I remember asking the IS chemist about the color issue when I was talking to them about my proheal and he said it was normal for the serums to darken "slightly". |

Very pale clear. The IS should have only the slighest yellow/orange tint to it. |

To the original starter of the thread:
Did you get it off of ebay? If so that might be the reason... |

But Skinceutical serum's bottle says it's natural to get darker and it doesn't reduce its effectiveness. So I assume it applies to IS Clinical also. |
