I LOVE hot towels at restaurants, spas, hotels etc... love, love love them. I live in a small apartment and don't have much counter space- I've enough beauty supplies as it is. I don't have room for a hot towel warmer and i"m looking for a crock pot that is big enough to fit around 8 little face towels. Those i've seen have been too small or too big. If anyone can recommend one, i'll be very grateful! |

Angelina, I would probably go against recommending a crock pot for keeping hot towels. Once wet and placed in the warm environment you have to be very careful about build-up of bacteria (that is why so often hot towels are “treated” with sanitizers etc.). For this reason, I avoid using the towels on my face. The hotel I worked at once used to do their hot towels fresh every evening and after dinner service the unused ones were all put to the wash.
The best thing to do is just wet a small towel and wring out well and pop into the microwave for 30sec-1 min (depending on how strong your microwave is) and hey-presto, instant hot towel. |
