As titled. We always protect our face with high UVA protection but what about around the eyes? Does the SPF in the eye cream effective enough to block the UVA? Do we need a seperate SPF eye cream or can we just use the sunscreen for the face to use around the eyes? I'm really confused about this....pls help |

Have you checked Clarin Eye cream SPF30, I can't recall exact ingredient, but I think it does have UVA... Correct me if I am wrong. It costs only 24.50 and it last forever.
Also, good eye cream is La Prairie Smart Eye SPF15.
For best protection, always use sunglasses, it also protect your retina... |

I have purchased eye creams with spf. I have used the both of the Avon ones years ago. The Anew is still available. The other one in the tube is discontinued. I liked having the tube in my purse.
I have also used clinique Advance Signs Spf 15. Active ingedients are zinc oxide & oxtinate. It does not moisturize well (most eye creams don't) so I would put a moisturizer under it.
I had a sample 5ml tube of the clarins one and like it better. Active ingredient is t. dioxide (stable; physical).
Someone had suggested on another forum just using your everyday sunscreen. My everyday sunscreen product is La Roche Posay UV Hydraphrase 30. I apply a small amount of eye cream (no spf) under it and then LRP all over my face, neck, chest and around my eyes. This is working well for me and it is one less product. |

I used to apply SPF cream on the whole face, but did not use eye cream with SPF. |

This is a great moisturizer and never bothered my eyes if applied on the orbital bone area below my eyes. |

Elizabeth Arden has 2 eye creams with spf. Ceramide Eye Wish spf 10 ( for dark circles) and Ceramide Plump Perfect eye spf 15 ( for puffiness) Both are very hydrating. I didn't find the Eye Wish helped my dark circles but the Plump perfect eye helped my puffiness. |

I think you can use sunblock for face around your eyes. |

I use Murad Essential C eye cream with SPF 15. It offers broad spectrum protection, but when I called Murad to obtain the UVA rating they couldn't tell me what it was.
I don't see any reason why you couldn't apply your facial sunscreen around eyes for additional protection. |

Thank you everyone for replying. I do notice there're quite a few eye creams with SPF out there. I'm just in doubt about their UVA protection cuz the ingrediants don't seem to have Zinc or Mexoryl or UVA protecting ingrediants. I might be wrong though.
The reason that I'm afraid to apply facial sunscreen around the eyes is cuz they might be too greasy? But I guess many of u are right, I can use my facial sunscreen around my eyes too. No need to get another eye cream just for that purpose. |

Have anyone tried DDF Protective Eye Cream SPF 15?
I am still not sure whether we should put regular sunsreen around eyes. Therefore, I am looking for an eye cream with SPF. Any suggestion beside DDF?
Thank you! |

I’d be more concerned about wrinkles around the eye caused by squinting in harsh sunlight, which will not be prevented by any sunscreen. Sunglasses! |

I love the Murad Essential-C eye cream SPF 15. I know it's not ideal, but I haven't seen any others at 30 or 45, so I am happy with the 15. I agree (although I don't always comply), that sunglasses are very important! |

well, if u can tolerate the reg. sunscreen around the eyes, I would put that on. Cuz it seems weird to wear sunglasses even indoors or on a cloudy day |

I've been using Murad Essential-C eye cream SPF 15 as well. I couldn't really tell any difference actually. And although every time I only use small amount of it around the eyes, it actually caused small milia for me at one time |
