Has anyone in the forum ever used a sunblock product called "total sunblock"? It was developed by a dermatologist and is a physical sunblock. I have used it for a couple of years and like the fact it doesn't give me any breakouts. But I can't tell whether it is effective as a sunblock because I am not an outdoor person. I would like to hear what others think if you happen to use it too. |

No, but I want to. Where can I find it in Canada?
So good to hear that it does not clog your pores |

I got it online. I don't know whether there are stores carrying it yet. As a matter of fact, this website is having a 15% holiday promotion on all of the sales and they happen to carry this product. http://skincarerx.com. I just got mine from them a week ago. I have finished two bottles so far. |

Cool...found it on dermadoctor.com Anyone have oily skin and used this?
I'm wondering if it makes you more shiny, even though its oil-free. |

I don't know, but Paris, I think I told you before that I use Skinceuticals SPF 30. In general, all sunblock & sunscreen can clog pores and there is no way around it.
As for Skinceuticals, it is thick, leaves a bit of a white colour and maybe a bit of a sheen but maybe not because I use Vivier Vit. C.
I don't mind the white colour. Because of skin cancer fear and knowing the quality of Skincuticals, to protect the skin, I use it. I have read a lot of good things about Total Sunblock also. |

I tried a sample of the Fallene (it that's the one) and although it isn't oily, it was definitely thick & pink...but it is a good block & I may consider it again for the beach. I don't think I could use it on a daily basis.
Meanwhile, I clicked on the skincarerx site to find the sunblock. I didn't find it but found that skinmedica now has a lip plumping & anti aging system!Ugh! will never stop! I love skinmedica products, they're generally well formulated & very effective. |
