I just ordered the dermalogica exfoliation kit. It contains:
Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant (2.6 oz.)
Dermalogica Gentle Cream Exfoliant (.3 oz. Travel Size)
Dermalogica Daily Resurfacer (7 pcs.)
It says there 'one day of intense exfoliation followed by 7 days of gentle exfoliation'.
I'm new to dermalogica & have no idea how to go about using this to get the best results.
Also should I use the toner at night (multi active toner)??
Thanks for your help |

Hello, Seno.
The Intense Exfoliation they refer to, is the Dermalogica Gentle Cream Exfoliant. It's supposed to be used once a week.
The Daily Microfoliant and the Daily Resurfacer can be used once a day (but not on the same day).
You can consider whether your skin needs daily exfoliation. You may skip it a couple of times a week.

Well you got a full size microfoliant and travel sizes of the other stuff. Just because you have it, doesn't mean you have to use it immediately. I don't know your skin and needs but a good rule of thumb is not to overexfoliate.
Ok, here's a routine I just came up with for you using all those product, it's easiest to just give the routine:
Day 1: microfoliant
Day 2: no exfoliation
Day 3: gentle cream exfoliant
Day 4: no exfoliation
Day 5: microfoliant
Day 6: no exfoliation
Day 7: daily resurfacer
Day 8: no exfoliation
and so on.
If this is too much exfoliation, throw in an extra "no exfoliation day" after every exfoliation day. Once all you have left is the microfoliant, you can just use that however often your skin is happiest with it. (I use it about twice a week)

Thank you so much! I think I would have ended up overexfoliating if I didn't get you help.
Thank you!!! |

You're welcome! And it's just something I made up, you can adapt it to your skin. If you find that you don't like the resurfacer (I never tried it) just cut it out, don't feel obligated to use it just because you have it. |
