Okay, I'm just not gifted when it comes to finding the right words. So, just bear with me, okay?
I ordered Candy's Exfoliating Cleansing Butter in the Bergamot Mandarin Scent and it arrived today. I opened the jar and almost fainted at the lovely scent. I mean, seriously, I went weak-kneed. Well, okay, I'd just had a shower about 2 hours before. But, so what? I just HAD to try it.
The texture was just like butter with little orange granules. My first thought was that I don't like those greasy exfoliant washes and I hope this rinses off well. It DOES! It left no greasy or oily residue at all.
Now, my skin from the neck down hasn't changed much in 30 years. Great condition (if only I could get my face to match, LOL.) Well, my dears, Candy's Exfoliating Cleansing Butter is to die for! It's absolutely decadent. My skin looks and feels so soft and hydrated that, if it wasn't so cold today (and I weren't so fat), I'd just prance around naked. Absolutely no body cream needed afterward.
Candy, you are absolutely amazing! How do you do it? Everything I try I fall in love with. And, THIS is now my HG for soft, hydrated winter skin.

Arielle, I think you found the right words, because you've got me lemming for it right now! |

Thank you, catski. Your skin will love you! Seriously, I've tried a lot of things just for "kicks and grins". But, this stuff is wonderful.

Candy says those little orange granules are jojoba beads, just so you know.
I have to keep reminding myself that I have this and I wrote the review as I'm lemming for it, too.
Repeat after me, Only 1 shower a day, only 1 shower a day." (Okay, maybe 2, but no more.)

Arielle, you took the words right out of my mouth! I just tried the Exfoliating Cleansing Butter this morning in the same bergamot mandarin scent, and agree with everything you said...yet another HG product from our dear Candy! Only problem now is that I want one in every scent she has...

i bought this for "the girls" to use over the christmas holiday in normandie as the central heating has dried us all out. after wondering why it was going so fast, i caught a whiff of the guys everyone's skin, from age 6 to 75 is soft as can be.... everyone's raved about it.
i must admit that i am the only one in the house that seems to absolutely hate the smell of the Bergamot/Mandarin. flashbacks to childhood, i suppose, as i got out of the bath smelling like a St. Joseph aspirin. (i think there's something in my body chemistry that seems to muck up any edible smells.) anyways, i'm still using this daily as it's most definitely saved my skin here. the house is pretty cold so there's no luxury time to be putting on lotions and whatnot, yet my skin is hydrated and healthy using nothing more than this butter to wash.
anybody on the fence about this product, get off! it is truly one of Candy's star products -- especially in cold, dry winter conditions. and if you're lazy or in a hurry in the morning, you just can't get a better product!
now if only she would put a scent from her January Special Monoi oils (hint hint -- tiare, pitate, or santal, pretty please), i'd be the happiest and softest woman in all of france! |

I make my own scrubs, and I'm thoroughly addicted to them. I also have to try every scrub that comes along.
I ordered this one from Candy the moment I saw it in Buttercreme, which is one of my favorites.
If you haven't tried this stuff yet, you should. It's scrumptious and especially good if you've had that awful dry heat turned on this winter! |

I'm seriously tempted to buy this next time. Butter Cream's one of my favourites too. I'm hoping it will help moisturise as well as clean my dry skin. |

it is a wonderful moisturiser! my body skin is pretty dry and whilst using this, i had no need to use anything else. i used it on winter holiday in normandie and it was so cold in the house that putting lotion on was just an apalling idea. after using only this for a week, my skin was in better condition than when using my normal moisturiser.... it *is* a must buy!
i am, unfortunately, still waiting (tapping her foot impatiently) for Candy to come out with this in a non-edible scent (anything that can be eaten smells hideous on me). |

I just received my January special order, and received the Cleansing Butter in 'Rise and Shine'. I love the scent. The best one i've tried so far, it's so fresh and I love the formulation of the Cleansing Butter, it's an amazing product. |
