I have seriously been searching long and hard for an everyday sunscreen for my oily/combination skin and this is it!
It looks great under makeup...doesn't feel heavy or greasy...and also provides other benefits!
With 5% Niacinamide, it helps with dark spots and hyperpigmentation. Here is the description:
EltaMD UV CLEAR BROAD-SPECTRUM SPF 46
1.7 oz Airless Pump (Item # 02500)
A winner of the ELLE 2010 Genius Award: Skin
Broad-Spectrum UVA/UVB Sun Protection
SPF 46 with 9% Micronized Zinc Oxide and high-purity Niacinamide (vitamin B3)
Calms and protects sensitive, acne-prone skin
Very lightweight, oil-free formula leaves no residue on skin’s surface
Use alone or under makeup every day
Noncomedogenic, paraben-free, fragrance-free and sensitivity-free
Active Ingredients: 9.0% Zinc Oxide 7.5% Octinoxate
I this SUNSCREEN!!
Only drawbacks are the small size and is kind of expensive, but totally worth it! With all the $ I spend trying different products that fail, it is great to find one that works. |

Definitely one of my favorites as well.
Since EDS does not carry it, I purchase at lovelyskin.com and they frequently send out 20% off emails for Elta. |

I don't mean to be a party pooper, but I can add one more drawback: it is in part chemical. |

Ditto on that sentiment RS, I can not tolerate any chemical sunscreens on my face! |

I still don't understand the whole chemical vs physical. Most people say to use only physical, but that it just lays on top of the skin and looks bad under makeup..plus the ones I've tried are greasy and my face looks like an oil slick by lunchtime. I guess you can never win..oh well! |

Funny, that happens to me with chemical sunscreens, never with physical. Plus, chemical sunscreens tend to oxidize, I look like a pumpkin by the end of the day. |

Thanks for the review. It's so hard to find a good sunscreen!
