Hi all. I am among the legions of semi-blind baby boomers -- the ones who can no longer see to put on makeup or tweeze eye brows or see that nasty mustache or chin hairs  I am in southern ontario and am trying to find a lighted makeup mirror that is 12x. I can find them on the internet located in New York for about $100 after shipping and customs and F/X. I know that there is the Tweezerman at 12x with no light, however I have also had lasek eye surgery with not great results, hence the need for light. Does anyone have such a product or seen one or know of the existence of one? Tks much for any help! 
PS: I found this site while looking for this product and found some of your reviews on tweezers of which I made note for the next time I am at a Shoppers or Walmart -- tks for that! |

Hi Lambie
I purchased an excellent lighted make up mirror on Ebay that has proved to be most fantastic.
The mirror is an 8X magnifying lighted mirror with a little light inset into the base of the glass which gives a far superior light when compared to the 'illuminated' mirrors (ie: mirrors which have a an illuminated 'halo' style light)
....Keeping my eyebrows tamed is just a doddle now 
The brand of the mirror is 'Sharper Image' - as I mentioned I purchased mine from their Ebay shop (of the same name)but I believe that they also have their own website |
