Does anyone who uses this c serum also use any other serums/lotions at the same time?
Can you let me know what the consistency is like? Is it such that it might prohibit something else from absorbing?
I am used to using water based l-ascorbic acid serums so it has never been an issue that it might interfere with anything layered over top of it.
I apologize if this question has already been asked and answered. I was able to find other posts about SkinMedica C Serum, but none that specifically addressed this issue.
Edited to Add: Oh no, I just found the answer to this question in a current post about Skinmedica causing breakouts..I read that thread at lunch time and the answer to this question wasn't there at the time. Sorry! |

TanGal actually did an in-depth thread regarding Vitamin C serums in general in terms of application, pH levels and wait times. Extremely informative.
Apparently I've been rude in the past posting the actual thread I'm referring to, if you would like to read up on it PM me and I will happily send you the link & answer any questions I can.
Regarding the Skin Medica in general, I can't offer any input as I haven't used it. Sorry. |

Thanks Candy. I have read TanGal's post and it was very informative. Unfortunately, I don't know the ph of the SkinMedica C Serum.
I actually just edited my post to say that I found the answer (at least about the texture) in a current post about SkinMedica causing breakouts. I read that thread earlier today and the post that answered my question wasn't there at the time. |

Thank you Theresa. There was a great deal of very interesting information in that thread.
I remember reading something on another forum about not being able to test the ph accurately if a product does not contain water. I can't remember the specifics, but will go see if I can dig it up.
If I find it I will post it in the other thread.
I too am sceptical of the ph SkinMedica reported though. |
