I'm starting a new thread so it'll be easier to find for newbies than if I just posted on the Epidermx thread.
This is solely a comparison, everything I feel about EpidermxII has already been said in the other thread. I love it just as much, been using it 2x daily for 2 weeks now and seriously 80% of my tiny bumps that I couldn't get rid of are now gone! I won't attribute this solely to the EpidermxII but I'm sure it has contributed significantly as part of my routine.
Anyways so for those with acneic skin or those with problems of congestion both Clarisonic and EpidermxII claims to help. I have used Clarisonic for 1.5 months 1x daily (started with the sensitive, low setting and have moved up to the high setting normal brush head). I did really like my Clarisonic I find that it didn't clear my congestion as much as I hoped it would (especially for the price)! It helped a bit but obviously not enough since I decided to give Epidermx a go.
Basically I find that Clarisonic really helps with things like blackheads and whiteheads (especially the seed-like type). It really helped with the ones on my chin that I could never get rid of. Clarisonic basically cleans it out, you'll have to rely on the other parts of your regime to prevent them from coming back. However for me the Clarisonic doesn't do much for those flesh like bumps on my face, not milia but not really acne - they're just bumps of congestion that you'll have to extract to get rid of. They can get inflamed and become full blown acne. This is where the EpidermxII comes in. EpidermxII REALLY helped me clear out those bumps. I extracted a bunch after the first 2 days of using it and they have not really come back so the exfoliation that EpidermxII gives me helps prevent those. However EpidermxII doesn't really do much for those whiteheads on my chin that the Clarisonic helps with. EpidermxII is my HG for exfoliation as no other product has given me such great results. I still get 1-2 active acne but this week as been my TOTM hormonal breakout period so for me it does not affect the product's efficacy in any way.
If you were only going to buy one I'd probably go for the EpidermxII considering the price and the quality of the product. I have no regrets buying my Clarisonic and will go back to using it 1x daily once I'm satisfied enough with my skin to only use EpidermxII 1x daily. |

Thanks for the review! I was curious about the epidermxII for exfoliating and keeping white heads at bay. I have a clarisonic but i dont use it much. I have these whiteheads on my cheeks that get inflamed and blow up into zits. I hope the transformation kit will help with it! I just ordered it yesterday. hope it works!! |

Thanks for the review! I have the Clarisonic and agree with everything you have to say about it, and I'm heavily lemming the EpidermxII. Lately i've been breaking out from my Clarisonic...everytime i use it i seem to get a pimple on each side of the cheek. I tried giving it a break and using it again 2 weeks later but same thing always happens. I'm only using it on my body now, and I'm looking for another good exfoliator. How would you rate EpidermxII in terms of its ability to get rid of flakies and dry patches? |

Thanks for the great review. I also get those flesh colored bumps that are hard to get rid of and have tried other microdermabrasion products. Although they help, they do not completely get rid of the bumps for me.
Have you tried any other microdermabrasion products besides Epidermx? Just wondering how it compares to things I've already tried. |

I never thought of this until you asked but I realize I don't really get flakies and dry patches anymore - which I still did sometimes with Clarisonic. EpidermxII I find is actually quite moisturizing so I think it helps fix the cause of the flakies and dry patches.
jwils: I have not tried that many because I always though I didn't need such a strong exfoliation product (I felt microdermabrasion always targetted the anti-aging group). The only other thing I've used is Bioelements Pumice Peel which gets rave reviews on MUA. It's actually VERY similar to EpidermxII except the grains are slightly harsher and the base slightly oilier. But it did leave my skin feeling EXTREMELY smooth and moisturized but I don't think it's something you can use everyday. Not to mention EpidermxII is only 25USD incl. shipping while the Pumice Peel retails for 60CAD. |

I like the Epidermx, and use it twice a day. I wish it came in a larger size, because I don't want to order once a month. I would definitely order a larger size. If I can find something comparable in larger amount, will probably give it a try. |

I've been using Epidermx for quite a while, but am considering adding Clarisonic to my regimen. This review is very helpful. Thanks. |

I just received my Clarisonic from EDS and I have to say WOW!!!
Today was the first day I used foundation since I started using the machine and I really saw a big difference in my skin.
The biggest change was the clarity of my skin and how flawless my complexion looked, my complexion NEVER looks flawless. Even with using a primer, great foundation and all the right tools my face always looks dull, drab with uneven skintone.
To any of you that are on the fence about this machine don't hesitate to get one, it is wonderful. |

The EpidermxII sounds really good, I think I have to get it now.
By the way, I have been using the Clarisonic for 4 months now, and it really improves my skin. Definitely worth the investment. |

Hi carmenlu and mishie,
What are your skin types? Did it help your skin with achieving clear pores and removing white and blackheads? Carmenlu, how has it improved your skin?
-------
I've been using E2 for a couple of weeks now and really like it b/c it takes care of flakies and has evened out my skin's texture. I love how my skin is so smooth! While I've noticed a reduction in blackheads, I still have the darn little whiteheads and it seems that many of my clogged pores have been purging and have turned into nasties. Either that or my skin doesn't like the E2. I'm sticking with it though b/c who knows, my skin just might coincidently be having a flare up. (My skin has been acting so strange... I clear up and have only 1-2 breakouts and then wham! I get struck with 10! And there doesn't seem to be a pattern- I can't figure it out.) |

Try this website for a cheaper product.
Same as Epidermx.

I tried that stuff last year and have to say I didn't rate it at all... It just didn't work as well as my epidermx II. Maybe it's the same as the old stuff but I don't think it compares with E2 IMHO |
