I know that this forum is bombarded with questions pertaining to eye creams and all that great shtuff. But I've yet to find recommendations for someone who's 24, has normal/combination skin, and just wants something very light that moisturizes, diminishes very fine lines, and ideally would help with dark circles (I'm an insomniac studying for the mcat... heh), although it's not a necessity. I've been using the Murad Moisture Silk eye gel, and while it feels good, after 3 months I'm not sure that it's really doing all that much.
Any suggestions? Thanks!! |

Well, as far as I am concerned, the creme-de-la-creme would be the Cellcosmet Eye Contour Cream. It's got a very light texture, smells great and is moisturising enough for the eye area. A few people have also reported on it's line-reducing capabilities (from memory).
But I really do think that one of the most important things you need to do is to use an eye cream with SPF during the day. That, in my opinion (and the opinion of many others), is the best wrinkle preventor. I use Murad Essential-C with SPF15 during the day and the Cellcosmet at night. DDF also makes a nice eye cream with SPF which has a lighter texture than the Murad and is supposed to target black cirlces too.

Thanks! You've really helped and I'll undoubtedly place an order through EDS really soon. Skincare is like a double-edged sword... on one hand, you want there to be a lot of products to choose from because of the broad range of varieties of skin, but on the other hand it can drive you nuttier than a squirrel losing it's stash trying to sort through everything and weigh out the choices! So if even one knowledgable person offers advice, it lessens the insanity a *lot*! |

LOL.
Hello Rusalka, the thought of every one of us as a pretty nutty squirrel scratching her whiskers ( have you ever seen one doing that, I have:D) trying to sort through her bottles and jars and tubes and pick the best ones as "faves of the moment" really made me laugh so loud...ha ha ha ! In just a few words you said it all: Beauty Junkie= Nutty Squirrel. Thanks Rusalka for sharing with us your beauty philosophy. |
