I was just wondering if anyone has tried any of these products. I had seen them on Tyra Banks show with Jada Pinkett Smith and apparently they are good products. They have a body care line (scrubs, butters etc.)and they have a face skin care line. Just wondering if anyone has tried this product, which one and if they would recommend it
Thanks everyone |

What I remember about these products is that they have a short shelflife. |

A short shelf life...thats interesting. Have you experienced this with the products? If so what products have you tried.
I am very interested in trying these, however, I don't know too much about them.
Thanks |

I tried the body lotion with shea butter awhile ago, before the funding from Jada when they were just a neighborhood shop, so maybe they are different now. The lotions would last about 6 months and I was told to refrigerate they would start to smell funky after time maybe due the naturalness of the product? Like I said it was a long time ago so I can't speak for the product now. I also take forever to actually use up product since I overbuy!!! |

I have some leave in conditioner in the mail! Hopefully it arrives soon and I will let you know if I like it. My hair is so dried out from the chemicals in our water that I need serious moisture. |

Oh, I'm so glad that these products are getting recognition! I've only tried samples, but if I'm correct, then it was my 'hood in Chicago, in a cute little Hyde Park boutique that sadly is no longer, where they made their debut. I was positively entranced by them, but couldn't afford them at the time...

I got my black vanilla leave-in-conditioner and have been using it for a week! I definitely love it and will repurchase. It smells great and isn't too heavy on my hair but definitely increases shine and softness! |

I got the Rose Lemon Hand Cream this week, It feels great, smells great, Is a little heavy - greasy but my hands definitely need it. I also got the black vanilla leave in conditioner, but can't figure out how to use it. Its very liquidy, do I just try to pour some in my towel dried hair? It seems like it would be messy to use. I am going to try it today. I like how natural the products are, and how great they smell. My hair is fine though and I think a lot of the hair products may be too heavy for me. |

That sound great JTLee.
Would it be good for fine hair that gets easily weighed down? |

I LOVE the body souffles and the salt scrubs. I have them in the Mango Melange, Almond Cookie and Ocean. You don't need much of either of them and the smell last so long. I haven't tried any of the face or hair products, but I will be trying them very soon. Some of the Sephora stores carry Carols Daughter now, so I got to a smell the products. |

Black vanilla leave-in going on my list! Sounds too good to not try. Do you know if CD offers sample sizes? |

STOP IT.
I nearly didn't have it on my list until just now.

Unfortunately, my list is longer than my wallet can stand. Just 'cuz I want it and add it to my list doesn't (unfortunately) mean that it's in this month's budget for necessary hair splurges. But if it makes the list, it usually gets purchased eventually. |

Emma, I do think it is one of the better options for people whose hair gets weighed down but still want it to be soft and conditioned! I've tried so many leave-in conditioners/detanglers that are so heavy I never finish the bottle. I'm going to finish this one!! I didn't see anything about sample sizes but I didn't ask either so maybe that would be an option, I go the impression that customer service would be pretty good. |
