I just started using Ardell 3 days ago in conjunction with Revitalash...using Revitlash at night and Ardell in the AM. I noticed that my lashes are softer and seem fluffy after taking the Ardell off at night before putting Revitlash on. Seems the Ardell does really condition them. Anyone notice the condition that Ardell gives your lashes? I know it's really soon to tell, but I noticed something!

This is my first review on this site.I've been been surfing for a month or so now.I feel as though I have aquired some really good skin & beauty care ideas. Thank you all! I've been using Ardell eyelash excelerator for over a month now & it really seems to make your lashes grow in a noticeably longer. I find when I put on mascara in the morning my lashes are definitely longer,no kidding. What a wonderful product, with such a low price tag. Very Happy

I think I must be the only one who noticed no growth difference from using this, yes it did appear to make my lashes softer and gave the same effect as using clear mascara but no significant growth.
Worth buying for the price even so Very Happy

I stopped using this after a week. My eyelashes and eyebrows(which I have no growth proplems with) seem thinner, more stick straight and it's hard to get off. It kind of reminds me of elmers glue. I'm just going to hold off for CareKate's lash serum Smile

It does make them look thin when it on because its not mascara and is not supposed to thicken...but after i take it off at night they don't look thin at all...its got vitamins and proteins in it...i think it is doing good for my lashes...

Of course, I wouldn't expect it to make them look thicker (only used it at night). But what made me really not want to use it anymore was after I put it on my eyebrows. Even after not using if for a few days it seems like it has completely changed the texture of my hair. Same with my eyelashes, they are pretty long (just recently started experiencing breakage/hair loss) and have always curved up towards my eyebrows. Even in the mornings after washing it off my eyelashes just stood straight out. I have never seen them do this before. I was having a hard time getting it off so maybe that is what caused this. However, I'm glad it works for so many people since it is priced so right.

Did the ardell make them break/hair loss? Or where you saying that you used it because you were experiencing hair loss/breakage and figured ardell would help?

Sorry Smile, I had that problem before using Ardell and was hoping it would help out. I didn't notice Ardell harming my lashes further, I just didn't like the way they made them look.

I probably posted my experiment in some other thread but don't remember where and this thread was easiest to find. So i'm on my second week of using Dreamlash on my left eye and Revitalash on my right. My left shows no growth and a bit conditioned; my right definitely shows conditioning and length and a natural bend toward curl. Not there yet as my lashes are very stubby but will post a B/A when I reach the 30 day mark or sooner if I see a big difference.

I'm having the same results Patrice. However, I'm only using RL and I've never used a lash lengthening product before. I did use the DIY recipe for Lash Gloss from the DIY thread but nothing else.

I'm at day 15 and what I've noticed most of all is that my lashes are curling. I forgot the other day to curl my lashes before putting on mascara and was I surprised to see nice curled lashes. I can see new growth, tiny little black ones and the aforementioned two white ones *eeek*. This is so much fun.

Hi
i've been using ardell morning, midday and night for about a month now. I can say that length wise growth was minimal..but it seems like I have defintely waay more eyelashes than before. I'm not sure it looks like I have lot because its thicker or i'm just getting more lashes from it.

Glad you started this thread. I plan to use Ardell in the AM once it arrives. I am using RL in the PM.

When you apply at midday..do you wash it off or apply right over your AM application?

I apply my ardell right over my AM application. I dont wear any Mascara or anything so I dont see the need to wash anything off.

Honey, if you are "washing it off," it's no wonder your lashes are dry and brittle. This is tantamount to applying conditioner to your hair, then washing it out, or moisturizer to your skin, the washing your face -- which, yes, will definitely leave your hair and skin much drier than they were before.

Apply Ardell at night -- it has only oils and vitamins that are great for your lashes. There is nothing that should be washed off in the a.m. Just leave your lashes be, or do your regular makeup.

You don't need to wash your lashes unless they have mascara on them. Condition them at night -- with the Ardell. See?

I think what she meant is that she applied it at night and then washed her face and had to reapply the ardell. I don't think she applied it and then took it right off....

I put it on before bed and when I washed my face in the morning I'd lightly go over my lashes too. If I didn't try to get it off theres no way my mascara could have gone on properly over the dried up Ardell. It wasn't like a conditioner for me, more like a glue. I don't think mascara would look good over clumpy crusty lashes (I didn't glob it on either).

Does anyone else have "gluey" Ardell? Mine definitely is not.. There is nothing to take off, nothing is "dried."

Was your tube perhaps older? Where did you purchase it?

Mine isn't gluey....all i do is wash my face with warm water and pat dry my face and eyes and it comes off...mine goes on like clear mascara..it looks shiney when on. Maybe you got a bad tube.

I have used the Ardell for a few months. It did not seem to help my lashs grow faster or fuller, I do agree it does condition well, and help them fall out less, so I use it for that reason.

I think it also lessens breaking which can make them seem to grow longer, and by helping them stay attached, can help fullness.

I am currently useing the Revitalash right now, (only for a month so far) with Jan Marani on order.

I did want to add, MSM supplimentation did waniders on my lash growth length.

Glue?! Shock I would think that the texture of Ardell would be somewhat similar to Malava's or what I'm using right now, Shu Uemera Lash Repair.. Perhaps you are applying it too much? Or I guess it might be a bad, older tube..? Confused

I guess I probably have been a bad tube Confused. I purchased it at Ulta. I didn't put that much on because it kind of stung my eyes, so I don't think that was the problem.

Tangal, do you think you're getting results with your RL? I am using that for 3 weeks now. I don't notice much result so far....still as short as ever. I just got Ardell today from drugstore.com, and I also got my MSM from vitacost yesterday. Yep, I do nothing but shop on the net all day.
