Since I was very young, I’ve had a strange sort of rash. The rash consists of red bumps (not itchy); the bumps are slightly raised and can easily be felt. They seem to be hereditary, as my father and cousin both have them. They are mainly on my arms and seem to randomly come and go. There are well over 100 on just one arm. Chlorinated pool water seems to slow them down but not make them go away entirely. Please Help! |

Try exfoliating daily with a product such as MD Formulations Face and Body Scrub. I have had these bumps in the past too. At least, what you've shown and described sounds familiar. |

Do you sometimes develop little white spots on tanned skin in addition to the red bumps? If so, this condition is called tinea versicolour, which is a common fungal infection. In order to get rid of it, you have to cover affected areas with dandruff shampoo (TRUE!) & let it dry. Eventually, the fungus will be killed and the bumps (or white spots) will disappear.
