Just want to say that as a MAC product user for over 10 years the switch to JI makeup was easier than expected. It took about 3 days to get used to the feel of powder as opposed to MAC liquid. But I love it and as most people say, it feels like you are wearing nothing on your face. I am 48 years old and my husband who hates makeup, let alone comments on it, stated that I looked like a teenager! A friend of mine also commented that my skin looks great. I have always been so self conscious because of hyperpigmentation spots and some pitting scars, so this made me feel great! I purchased Radiant Base, two blush'es- sheer honey and dubonnet, Disappear, and Absence. I also bought the brushes and a lipgloss (very small) and a lipstick. For the lowest prices go to Astonishingskincare.com. I gave them a call and they were so helpful and even sent lipstick samples. |

Don't like to wear makeup, but want to look good? Jane Iredale pressed base feels like you're wearing nothing at all, yet whatever imperfections you might have are gone. Everyone comments on how good my skin looks. And the sun screen is "built in". |

Does anybody use their eye pencils? Do they stay put all day? Currently I use MAC, so maybe somebody can compare them. |

I experimented with both JI and Escentuals and both made me look ghastly. It could be that the products weren't the right colour match and/or perhaps you have to be a certain age to wear them well, but neither were an improvement over Virtual Skin by Prescriptives which I've used for years and like. (Prescriptives has the best colour match system of any foundation product on the market, in my opinion.) I like the way they look on other people but they just don't work for me.
I am going to buy the lip plumper by JI though and I might try a blush. |

P.S. I did buy the JI concealer (circle delete 2) and love it! Beautiful texture and does a remarkable job of concealing. |

I bought a sample of the JI powder foundation and wasn't super impressed...
However, I do have two of the eyeshadow trios and absolutely love them! ![](images/smiles/049.gif) |

I like their amazing base powder, my color is Warm Sienna. You really don't feel you're wearing anything on your face. However I don't like their lip balm. |

I like the loose powder foundation quite a lot, but found the pressed powder gave more uneven coverage using the handi brush. I tried her liquid foundation and didn't care for it at all. |

I am using it (in black) - for me, I don't have oily eyelids so the pencil liner, topped with a coat of eye shadow, stayed put until I take it off. If you tend to have oilier eyelids you can always use a lid primer, which will help, or just top off the liner with a light dust of eyeshadow will do the trick too! |

I think the pressed powder is great, but finding the right brush is key...I use more of a blush brush than a flat brush and i think that works better. The handi is more for loose powders. |

What kind of brush do you use? I've been using my old Clinique brush, but I'm thinking it's seen better days. |

I use Jane Iredale pressed powder in warm sieena, i used mac powder foundation before. I love JI, it doesnt look cakey snd good for my oily skin. It stays matte all day. However when i want more coverage for evening I dampen the sponge with lukewarm water. It is truly an excellent powder. Also this shade is the best at covering redness. |

I've been using JI pressed powder for almost 2 years now. I've heard people say glomineral is just as good. Anyone tried that?
I would order it from eds if only I knew what shade would fit me ![Sad](images/smiles/sad.gif) |
