I was wondering if using face masks can replace the use of exfoliators? Since it also takes away dead skin cells and leaves your face very nice, do you think that would be possible?

Are you looking for a replacement for manual exfoliators? You could look into enzyme masks that are still going to exfoliate without manually scrubbing your skin. I know that clay masks will lift away some for the dead skin cells, but in my opionion, they don't exfoliate enough (for me).

I think clay masks actually create more dead skin build up, clay gets trapped in dead skin and loosens it - so I find that I need to use a scrub/enzyme based exfoliator even more after a mask.

Hmmm, I feel like clay masks leave my skin pretty clean; I've never felt like I needed to exfoliate after one. I always use the kind that dry hard, not the ones that stay soft; maybe that makes a difference. Question It's funny how each person's skin can react so differently to the same product. Very Happy
