I noticed that a few companies have a lotion and/or moisturizer that is suppose to help control or limit oily breakthrough during the day. Wondered which ones you all like the best. I have always had oily skin and tried some drugstore types of this product but never found a difference. In fact neutrogena's made my face break out and when you're 40 that's not fun!
Any recs?
thanks! |

Try Dermalogica's Oil Control Lotion; this will control excess sebum secretions, without compromising your hydration levels. |

I would definately recommend Dermalogica's oil control lotion. It helps control moisture but also moisturises because some oil control products dry even oily skin.
I have just started using this and it's really good - give it a go. |

Thanks! I tried a sample of this and liked the feel of it even though I still got oily breakthrough mid day. But it didn't cause break outs. As much as I'd like to think otherwise I guess nothing will totally solve this problem so I think I'll order some and give it a try!
Can you use another moisturizer with this. As I age I also get some dry spots too. |

After cleanser and before oil control lotion try Multi Active Toner - it's a kind of moisturising toner. |

Yes, oily skin is not only the secretion of sebum on our skin, but also because of our skin dehydration, so use hydration mask frequently and moisturiser with high level of hydration. |
