Ok, it's time to write my Skincode review! Unfortunatly I will not be able to write down ingredients as my lovely husband in a cleaning splurge before christmas threw the box away.. (he also threw away my japanese wash cloth I bought in Tokyo...that was much worse, but what can I say? )
From Skincode I bought a starter kit with the Protective day cream, regenerating night cream, intensive lifting serum and firming eye gel + 2 samples of the SOS instant radiance serum. All products are from the Essential line (they have to lines). I've tried the products for over a month now.
The products I didn't like much are the protective day cream and the intensive lifting serum. The protective day cream wasn't really moisturising enough, and I think it made my skin break out. I will try it again later since I'm not sure it was the reason for my breakouts. The lifting serum wasn't really something I was interested in trying, bur as it was in the kit I've tried it.It is a gel that you're supposed to massage into the skin until it's completly absorbed. Felt a bit sticky and made my skin feel tight (moisturiser normalised the feeling though). I didn't really stick with it long enough to notice any effect.
Ok, the rest of the products I do like. The firming eye gel is nice and moisturising, and didn't feel tight like a lot of gels do on my skin. Dehydration lines around eyes also less, but think I will try the eye cream next. The gel will be fine for summer though. The regenerating night cream is also very nice and healing. Makes my skin soft and really takes away red marks over night, and no oily/greasy feeling. For an extra moisture splurge I've mixed it with some PSF HA serum, but not every night. It's fine on its own. The SOS instant radiance serum I've used 2 samples of and I really like it. Gives some moisture and healing, and a beautiful glow! I will buy a full size and see how it works out over time.
I've not tested any cleansers from Skincode, or products from the other line. In addition to Skincode I've only used oil based cleanser from Babor and Kanebo, and some PSF HA serum.
Pleas ask if there is any questions! |

Loved your review. It sounds like only some of their products are good.
What is your skin type? |

I have dehydrated combination skin, a few blackheads, sensitive and no sign of ageing so far. Finding a really good moisturiser is my problem. |

I've been waiting for your review! Thank you!
If you try the eye cream, let us know what you think. This is one of the products I'm curious about.
I never made it to Walgreen's yesterday but I told my husband I needed to go today "To get paper towels, and stuff." Haha. |
