I finally broke down and admitted to myself that my Emu oil was causing some blocked pores and blackheads, something I don't usually battle. I wanted to continue with an oil so I purchased IFP's Rejuvenating Serum at a very reasonable 12.00.
This serum is fab! I feel moisturized but not oily and I swear that by the third day my skin had a lovely glow to it. The packaging is very professional and presented nicely, wrapped in pink tissue and one of Kim's cards. She included a sample of her vanilla buttercream shower gel that smells wonderful.
I'm impressed with Kim's service and her product prices. Her DMAE/anti-oxidant spray comes in a four ounce bottle in various dmae strengths going up to 10 percent. I believe the ten percent costs 20.00. What a steal. My next order will include the dmae and her bha/aha concoction.
If anyone has tried her moisturizing serum I'd love to hear from you.

Love this productline.
Have not used that specific serum though - sorry.
But the other products I have used (most of the entire line) are excellent.
Love the good customer service, and ethicial business practices.
Not all companys believe in that anymore....
Price is good, and she makes all her products at the recomended strengths for optimal performance, not trace levels as some companys do.
Very nice. |

I use the healing, hydrating and clarifying serums, depending on my skin that day. I love them all - won't be w/o them. |

Amy,
Can you tell a difference in the rejuvenating and hydrating serums?

I was looking at that one as well. I am running out of my 2% BHA (low pH), so I'll soon need someting new for my acne prone skin. I thought I'd try this BHA/AHA mix (and I'll probably go with a higher % of acids).
As for the Rejuvenating Serum - are you saying this is replacing Emu as a moisturizer? I'd be interested in knowing how you like it in a long run. Please keep us posted. Thanks. R. |

I have this and like it. I don't use it everynight faithfully because I alternate with emu, rosehip advocado, blah blah blah and I can never decide which to use. Sometimes I mix them all together, but I do like the rejuvenating serum. I bought it because I thought it would be extra moisturizing seeing as it was for mature skin. Hope thats true. I am only 28 but it can't hurt. I think its a pain in the a** to get out though. I am not that patient to wait for those drop to come when they get good and ready. |

RazinKane, you can remove the dropper thingy. Then just cover finger over the bottle and tip to get a fingertip full. That works well also. |

I won't "contaminate" it that way? |

I've found the more I use my serum the more efficient the dropper works.
Amylola,
Sorry I read clarifying as hydrating.

Hi Rubby,
Yes, I'm replacing the Emu. This is like my third time trying Emu as a moisturizer and darnit everytime I use it I get blackheads on my cheeks. I'll keep some around to use occasionally after the occasional peel but I just can't use it daily.
I'll get back with you regarding the serum after a few more weeks. Just ordered the bha/aha and I'll let you know about that too.

I have problems with the dropper too, it takes forever! I removed the one on the healing serum, and just dip in a q-tip. But once my 2 year old opened it, and dumped it out, so I had to buy a new one. THat is the problem with taking the droppers out! |

Contamination: Well I have used these products for a few years now, this brand and others that are simular.
I have often used fingertip application, with no issues. Fingers are clean when I use them, the oils themself have some antiseptic properties, and I go through them at a reasonable rate. In less then a year.
So yeah, I guess it is possible, but I have never had an issue with it.
I have had some bottles where the Oriface dropper works better then others. But if it irrites you to much, you need to weight your stress/irritation levels against the possible contamination risk as it applys to your habits.
For me just easier to remove the darn thing. |
