A few weeks ago, I asked CareKate if she could please make a Beard Buster for hubby. He's what one would call "swarthy" or "the abominable snowman", according to one's disposition. He has a 5-o'clock shadow by 10am etc. I had the idea from Carekate's shave minimizing oil and thought that if hubby could apply this, it might help with his facial hirsuteness. However, hubby didn't want to apply an oil and CareKate came up with the idea of modifying the Pearl Cream to add clary sage and capislow and also spruce oils to combat the smell of the clary sage....and, it WORKS!!!! He's been using it for about 2 weeks. Hubby likes it, the product applies well like a balm after he shaves in the morning and he no longer looks like the abominable snowman, just the latter's younger brother! Another bonus is that his skin is looking better as a consequence of the pearl cream (fewer rashes, breakouts etc). Me thinks it's a keeper!
CareKate's Beard Buster comes in a cute blue screw cap jar. Ingredients: Ground pearl powder, organic aloe vera juice, floral hydrosol/s, hyaluronic acid concentrate, witch hazel, lecithin, panthenol, tocopherol, carrier oil/s, honey, botanical extracts, capislow, essential oils including clary sage and black spruce.
YAY for CareKate's Beard Buster!!!!!!! |

I forget that men use skincare too as my H never does.
I thought that the beard buster was some form of new waxing product for bikini lines.

Hi agent -oo cat
Does this inhibit your husbands five o'clock shadow? I hate five o'clock shadows and the only thing that I have found which works is estrogen and progesterone creams and even then the stubble is peeking through the woods.
I am amazed that those ingredients listed work. This is wonderful news. |

It doesn't inhibit a 5'oclock shadow. It retards it. We're not talking night and day but it's neverthless a decent improvement. It makes the difference that his boss doesn't shout " thanks for shaving today" when he has! |
