I broke out in a rash a few weeks back (little tiny bumps all over my chin) from using Dr. Hauschka's SPF 8 cream. I looked at the ingredients, and I really can't figure out what it could be, other than shea butter, which my face has never reacted well to.
Any ideas? Could it be the zink oxide or titanium dioxide I'm allergic to (because I've started using another SPF cream without shea butter and the bumps still won't go away)...
Help! |

i can only say that i am one of those who has always reacted badly to shea. i wanted to give it one more go and recently tried Chrysalyx (which is, unfortunately for me, absolutely gorgeous) one more time. i seriously have the mother of all cysts sitting on my face (bigger than anything i've gotten in the longest while). it's been days and nothing is making it go down -- nothing!
for me. at least, it seems to be a cumulative effect. each time i've used shea, the reaction is worse and it takes me longer to heal.... perhaps this has happened to you??? |

I've never experienced this but do know that there is a substance in Shea Butter that causes problems for people who suffer from latex allergy, some of the symptoms of which are a rash or hives. |
