Charlotte's Web!!!!!
Ohmigod! I am so excited, as this was one of my favorite books as a child! I only read it about 20+ times, and still have my copy at my parents' home.
I am so psyched!

Yay! When I was a little girl and I used to bring home those mid-term reports from teachers that my parents had to sign, my mom would always write "Some Pig" in the comments section, LOL!!
I'm still waiting for the Last Unicorn movie to be finished.... |

Are they remaking The Last Unicorn? Why? It was one of my favorite movies as a kid. |

I'm terrified of spiders, but that book made me sob my heart out at the end. |

Oh Cloud_9, do I have good news for you! Yes, apparently they are re-making the Last Unicorn. They've been working on it for years tho, so it's taking forever. It's supposed to be live action mixed with computer animation. For me, one of the best parts is that they have almost ALL of the original voice actors coming back to play the real-life counterparts. Although, one interesting thing is that I read that the actress who originally did the voice of the Unicorn will be playing the part of Molly Grue. For me, this casting selection is especially choice, since one of the strongest themes (IMO) in the Last Unicorn was about the impermanence of life and the temporal nature of humanity, and now, 20 years or so since the animated version of the movie was made the Unicorn (who to me represents eternal youth and immortality) has become Molly Grue, who is old and bitter and world-weary.
Sorry for all the geekiness... |

I loved that book when I was little - always cried too, no matter how many times I read it . |
