This is my first review but here goes... I bought the "dermalogica gentle soothing lotion" from essential day spa a few months ago for 66 dollars. It was expensive but it certainly does its job. I use it whenever it seems my skin needs a little back up after late nights out and i always use it after shaving. It really is the best alternative for alcholic aftershave and its effects can be seen within minutes. Great product that's worth the eyebrow raising pricetag. |

Hi John,
Thanks for posting the review, hopefully one of more to come I shall bring this product to the attention of my other half. Winter is coming and he's got really dry skin so, like it or not, he will HAVE to use something otherwise he'll stay all flaky Luckily Dermalogica has pretty unisex-type packaging, persuading him to try something "girlie" looking would be like

yeah it took me a while to start with the whole caring-for-my-skin deal but when you realize that this girlie activity only brings more girlies then you wont be quick to quit. |

I agree, John: girls DO, indeed, appreciate a well-groomed man who takes care of himself! This has nothing to do with the entire metrosexual man. If I were to snoop in a man's bathroom, and see things like ... Aqua-Velva, Brut, or gasp! ... Brylcreem , this chicka would go running for the hills! It's too bad that there isn't a product for men to soften their re-growth though, because there is nothing worse than getting whisker-burn or out-right scratches on a girl's face from these barbs They hurt! |

Hi there, it is for all skin types, love to apply it to my skin after extractions during facial cos it really calms my skin and reduces all the redness. It smells great too. |
