About 6 weeks ago I saw that Suave had a toasted vanilla and sugar shampoo and conditioner... I tried it and it seemed that my hair was VERY shiny and frizz free... I've tried a lot of drugstore shampoos to get my hair this way... I thought that all Suave shampoos and conditioners were made equally and wanting a change I switched to the green apple scent... well, my hair did not look nearly as shiny... after using it up I went back to the toasted vanilla and today my hair is awesome... it's got to be that that's making my hair look so good... so if you want very shiny, silky hair maybe you should try it? I know everyone's different, but for my long, straight, dark brown hair that's kind of fine, it's like a miracle in a bottle... |

Oh, I forgot to mention that this would make an *ideal* shampoo to use around your hairline when you're coloring your hair and following Carekate's step-by-step instructions using Wella Color Charm products (which I love and have achieved great results with!).

Suave products leave behind a heavy build up, so keep an eye out for that. |

Sounds yummy smelling! I haven't had much luck with drugstore shampoos and conditioners for my hair, but if this is cheap enough, I'll give it a shot. I'm always fighting the frizz in my hair too. |

I have always considered Suave to be one of the few products to leave build up. There are no "cones" in the conditioner and the shampoo's have all been very gentle to my hair.
I love the Vanilla conditioner, it is great for a deep moisture treatment. Have not tried the shampoo yet, I like the berry one.
Linda
edit: It leaves No build up |
