My skin is fairly good and only misbehaves sometimes. I always seem to have acne (little bumps/spots) on my forehead and chin appear.
I purchased MD Clearing complex in hope that it would fade small acne scars and get rid of the stubborn spots.
Ive been using the clearing complex masque for about 3 weeks (and whilst using it I saw a positive difference!)and then I started using VitaPlus Clearing serum in the past week or so and it seems that its made spots form and turned them into whiteheads and is actually makin them worse.
Why is this happening? Is it all part of the clearing up process?? Please re-assure me!! |

Well I definitely would not say that it's rubbish! MD Formulations AHA products have been very effective for me. I used the clearing complex, clearing complex mask, glycolic cleanser and also the facial lotion and the routine got rid of my under-the-skin bumps.
In my opinion one of two things could be happening. 1. Your skin is in the process of purging itself from the bad stuff that lies underneath. 2. The Clearing Serum is just not suitable for your skin. I haven't actually tried the Clearing Serum so I'm unable to comment on how effective it should be.
I would suggest however that if you are looking to fade some acne scars and pigmentation then you should consider getting something like Skinceuticals Phyto+ or a vitamin C serum. Actually, Skinceuticals now makes a vitamin C + AHA serum so you get both the vitamin C and the exfolitation in one go
