Hey all!
So, I have a nasty case of razor burn/irritation going on in the arm pits (charming, I know ) and it is just getting worse and worse. I think that it might be due to the fact that I have been using baking soda as a deodorant for a while now, though I'm not entirely sure. I plan on quitting the baking soda and trying the KMF stuff that I read about in another thread just in case. I think it's a good idea either way, as I do notice that the bs occasionally causes some stinging when I apply it after shaving.
But I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for something I can use to help heal the redness/irritation/bumps that I am dealing with now. It is quite uncomfortable and not very flattering with a tank top!
Thanks! |

I got slightly infected armpits last year from a bad razor I think. I treated it with live yogurt and emu oil and stopped using deodorants and it cleared up fairly quickly. |

Hi Shawna! I used to shave my underarms too and then would end up getting rashes with or without any use of deodorant. I even get rashes with deodorant itself alone... So I decided to stop shaving and stop using deodorants all together. I then pluck only.. without using any deodorants because they give me mad rashes. Now I'm epilating and using KMF Liquid Rock fragrance free deodorant with no problem at all. The KMF stuff rocks! |

Thanks, Molly and Lisey!
Wow, Lisey... you pluck them all out? I never even thought of that. How often do you do it? |
