Well, my bf and I just booked a week-long trip to the keys in June. We'll be flying into Ft. Lauderdale and driving down since we've always wanted to experience that drive. We'll stay in Islamorado 1 night and Key West 6 nights. I've been to Key West twice but only for a day each since it was on a cruise stop each time. Has anyone been to the keys and have any advice on things we must see/do, places to eat, etc.?
We're definitely planning a full day fishing trip, at least one snorkel trip (either Dry Tortugas or Sebago's Island Ting) and the one I'm most excited about, the Ghost tour! Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!  |

| We went a couple years ago. We drove all the way from Ontario, Canada and spent one night in the Keys then drove back to Miami for a couple days then to Orlando. When we were driving to Key West, as soon as we got on the first island there were shops on the side of the road and they help you plan activities, meals, lodging, etc. The prices were very reasonable. We were going to go scuba diving but our son was only 14 at the time and didn't want to go so we just spent the evening walking around. But they did help us find a nice hotel for a good price so I think it would be worth trying to find one of these shops. |

I am so jealous, always wanted to visit the Keys, had the trip booked for my -0th birthday but my husband had a stroke and we could not go.
