I am looking for a good self tanner, specifically for the face. I am nervous about just trying them out on my face. Any recommendations? |

Marby,
St Tropez works very well for me. I'm very pale and this doesn't make me go orange. I does give a pretty deep shade though. I haven't used it on the face, but it's my fave self tan for the body. I tend to be a bit careful with self tanners on my face (as you'd expect ). The one that I have repurchased for the face is Lancome Flash Bronzer Gel. But it's a very subtle colour so you might need to use it more than once to get anything decent. L'Oreal makes a very similar and good product as well: "L'Oreal Sublime Bronze for face and body".
Whatever you use, make sure you exfoliate well and moisturise well for a few days in advance. |

I find Clarins have quite a nice self tan for the face. It is not too dark so you can always add more the following night if you want a deeper colour. As Mabsy said exfoilating and moisturising a few days in advance to prepare the skin is important.
I also use the St. Tropez mist but I find it better for the body. The lotion though can be mixed with moisturiser and applied to the face to give nice glow.

HI
I love decleor self tan for my face, I use it so much, I think it gives me the perfect colour, never looks orange, and I do get people asking what I use. I also love St Tropez, this gives a great colour as well and Ecotan I have used recently and am really pleased with this. I normally moisturise my elbows, knees, feet and hands very well before putting the self tan on, this makes the colour very subtle on these area's. |

Hi Marby
Im quite a fake tan addict and have tried many. i have found the best ones to be the Fake Bake (both the lotion and the mousse) and St Tropez lotion. i usally mix a bit of body lotion with the fake tan lotions as i find it colours me a bit too well. The Fake Bake mousse is excellent. you can put it on in the morning before going to work and it looks great. the lotions are best put on at night. i apply these with a self tan mit which elminates any streaks. these two also tend to last quite well. hope this helps

I also like to look tan, but with all of the face products I use (AHA and exfoliants) where do i fit it into my regiment, and wont the color get taken off by the other products? |

I would say that you do it after you have exfoliated (and possibly slightly moisturised) your skin. Not everyday of course, but maybe once or twice a week.
The AHAs/exfoliants you are using will affect your tan. Basically it will fade faster because you are actively getting rid of any dead skin. It just means that you might have to apply the self tan more often to maintain it. I still think that exfoliation is essential though, even if it shortens the life of your tan. At least it ensures that your tan fades evenly instead of going splotchy. |

I use coppertone endless summer Faces! I've used it for 2 years and absolutely love it! It delivers a natural looking tan and it's also good skincare! If you try it i think you'll fall in love with it! |
