Anyone used this? I'm always on the search for a "better" self tanner...

I've used it, it took about 3 coats on upper body and 4 on legs, but the color is very very real. I am one of those with alot of yellow in my skin and ALL past self tanners just don't quiet work right on me. The application is so easy, with NOT ONE...I mean not one streak in any of the applications (I find that amazing in and of itself) I also was not careful, I just put on gloves and rubbed it in like I would a lotion. It also dries fast, other than the need for quiet a few applications to get there, I'd say this is the best one yet! Very real looking in my opinion! Costly but works for me.
oh edited to add, absolutely no smell either, or none that I could detect. I do not normally notice strong smells with any self tanners but with this one not any smell. |

Is it just a body tan or could you/ would you use it on your face?
My body is rarely exposed so it would be a bit of a waste but if I could use it on my face..... |

OK, I can now honestly say I've used it and...big disappointment. $40 for a small bottle and it takes, like, 4 applications to see a nice tan come thru. Then you still have to use a sunblock. It looked like it all washed off the next day in the bath. I'm going back to my Neutrogena Summer Glow Spf/selftanner/moisturizer. Lasts longer, cheaper and all-in-one. Too bad, but it's not for me.

I recently tried Perfect Tan and love it--no streaks, no darkening at knees or elbows, no smearing, no smell. I only used one coat and was happy with the color. I am quite fair-don't know how it would be for darker skinned individuals--and it looks really natural. I have never been a fan of self-tanners. They always look fake to me. My DH was out of town for three days. When he returned, he asked me why I tanning and not using sunscreen. I am always nagging him about protecting his skin and setting a good example for the kids. Faked him out!! It is a bit pricey, but I didn't have to use much AND I received a double sized bottle with my order and a good sized sample--with the freebies, it didn't cost so much after all! |
