I am new to this forum but love it already!
I was reading the topic "Eureka -- I've found the ultimate lip plumper!!" and was very interested in the idea that HA could indeed cause a poutier pucker.
The topic has now moved away from the original HA discussion so I would like to re-open the original topic.
Are the ladies that originally started that thread still using the HA supplements? Do they still believe that they produce poutier lips??? Any other advantages to using these supplements??? Some reported smoother skin as well. I am 37 and certainly could use smoother looking skin and fuller lips!
Do they also help with pain? Sound like a miracle pill if this is the truth.
All Input would be great!!! Come on ladies devulge all info on HA because I am picking some up today and would like to compare results, especially with ladies a bit older since we seem to need it more.

Hi!
Yes, I have noticed fuller lips, smoother skin, shinier hair, and less neck/back aches since I have been taking HA for about a year.
I haven't achieved the VERY full lips that some users have seen, but I do see a big difference in my lips.
I have issues with my hips and back from being an athlete, and the HA has made those aches and pains almost nonexistant!
Hope this helps. I highly recommend HA! |

Thank you for answering me I was getting lonely LOL
Do you take HA alone or is it a special formula? All I could find were HA that were 20mg. Will this have any benefit at all? I have back problems as well and would love some pain relief.
I saw on ebay that someone was selling HA in a lip balm. It was super cheap. Have you tried it as a topical treatment for lips. I think (not sure) that Lipfusion XL includes HA.

When I started taking HA, I used all the expensive kinds -- Hydraplenish, Source Naturals, Purity Products. But now I find that cheap, straight-HA Rexall works just as well. I've read (on the other thread) that taking about 60 mg of HA a day will help. I think that's usually the recommended dosage, that is, that's what the dosage on the bottle usually is. Earlier this week I was off my HA for about three days, and booy did I feel it in my back and hips! But, after taking one dose of HA, I was all better! I used to have lots of headaches and neck aches too, and now I hardly ever have them anymore.
Yes, I believe LipFusion XL does contain HA, but I have never seen visible results from LipFusion. I have been using the Victoria's Secret Extreme plumper lately, and it actually has an effect on me. It has collagen and HA. I have heard most people say that using straight HA topically tends to dry their lips out. |

Red you have been so helpful! I do appreciate it.
I guess the other girls that started the the "Eureka -- I've found the ultimate lip plumper!!" topic are no longer here, or decided to pass with their comments on this topic. Oh well.....
I am more interested in the health/pain benefits of HA anyway. I am ordering some Synthovial 7. It is supposed to be INCREDIBLE! We shall see.
Thanks again!!! You are a doll!! |

Also keep in mind, it really gives you the best lips "you" can have. Not lips that you could not acheive without a doctor and injections. Hope that makes sense. |

Pippi,
Hi and welcome to the forum!
I wrote in the Eureka thread not too long ago that I'm giving HA supps one more try. I tried it out last year but didnt notice anything in particular.
Anyway - I have now received 2 bottles of Hydraplenish and will go through both of them, i.e they give me about 2 months which should be a good trial period.
I don't want to say too much yet, but I have a good feeling about it this time. Been a few weeks now, and this looks promising I think- I am extremely sceptical when I study my lips and look for change, and I won't give the HA the benefit of the doubt. All that said, I *think* my lips are increasing in size now.
I am taking the 2 supps in the morning, 1 daytime and 2 before bedtime. Thats alot I guess. I am also doing this in conjunction with lots of water drinking and LipFusion XL.
Will report back about my progress (or lack thereof..)
Ziggy. |

Great Ziggy! I just ordered the Hydraplenish off ebay (a vitamin store) last night. I really liked the ingredients in them.
I will also keep you posted when they come in. Right now I am just taking the regular HA with nothing added. I am only on day 2 but there is no change in my lips.
I have also ordered the LipfusionXL so we will see how I like that as well. It should be here early this week. It also contains HA so I am really looking forward to using them together.
How big are the Hydraplenish pills? Are they easy to swallow?
We should take before pics of our lips and post them here and then another pic every week or so to compare our progress:D |

My pleasure! I hope the HA works for you, both for pain, and for your lips!
Synthovial 7, eh? I shall have to look into that!
I seem to remember the Hydraplenish pills being a bit large, but I could be wrong. |

Has anyone had chest pains while on HA?
I woke up this morning having chest pains. Maybe a gastric reaction? I never have chest pains so I was just wondering. I haven't taken any today so we will see if they continue. |

Hmm...no chest pains here! I do know that HA is supposed to be good for your heart, so maybe that's what's going on? |
