i'm very confused with these questions, please help me.
1, if you don't makeup, just use the sunblock, do you think you should use the makeup remover?
after you use the makeup remover, do you think you should clean again with the normal cleanser without makeup remover function cleanser)
2, how many times do you wash you face? I have read some article said that do not wash your face excess twice per day.
but i think i at least wash my face three time per day, one is after get up, one is off duty or after school, one is before sleep.
do you think it is too much?
3, how do you judge a cleanser whether good or not? if just for the makeup remover, we can see the color disappear in the face after we have used it.
if i you do not makeup, how do you judge?
thanks! |

I ALWAYS wash my face once a day ... at night. Sometimes I wash my face in the morning, but a lot of the time I just use water. If I feel grimy I do wash my face after school, but again ... sometimes I just splash it with water.
I use Diane Yvonne's Rose Hip Seed Cleanser and I love it because it keeps my skin soft, supple, and not oily! |

I wash my face twice a day, which is enough. Some dermatologists recommend once a day, as you don't really need to wash your face in the morning since your haven't worn any pore-clogging makeup in between washing your face at night and waking up. But unless you battle very dry skin, I wouldn't feel the need to only wash once a day.
On the rare occasion that I do midday exercise, I wash more, simply because I wash my face after working out and reapply my makeup.
I don't use any makeup remover, and don't see the need to do so. My Cetaphil cleanser removes all my makeup. Sometimes when I do very dark extreme eye makeup, I need to use eye makeup remover, but that is it. Otherwise, it's just Cetaphil.
In terms of knowing your cleanser is doing a good job - it's all about your skin. I know my cleanser is doing a good job because my skin behaves normally. I don't expect my cleanser to cure my dry patch or to stop all breakouts. But when I try other things, I can tell that my skin is getting drier or breaking out too much. Cetaphil works for me because it is nice and mild, and simply cleanses my skin without irritating it. |

I definitely have to use makeup remover to clean the face even only applying sunblock coz it will clog the pores of the skin. After removing the makeup I normally clean the face again with another cleanser. |

I only wash twice a day. I do wear sunblock everyday, or at least use the lotion has SPF 15-20. I don't use makeup remover, just cetaphil take off everything I wear.
I believe excessive washing will only takes away the natural barrier the skin offers. |

I wash once a day using the microfiber cloth. It exfoliates and cleans without added cleanser which is great for my dry skin. In the morning I only rinse my face. |

I wash my face twice a day because I'm an oil factory. I absolutely have to wash it least twice. I'd wash it 3 times but I don't want to dry it too much. There's just no winning with oily skin |

Using Cetaphil I always wash my face in the morning after exercising and again when I take my makeup off late in the day.
I think if you use a gentle cleanser you can safely wash twice a day! |

Lately, I've been washing twice a day with a microfiber cloth and water and loving the results. I didn't think it would work for me not to use some kind of cleanser because I have oily skin, but it's been AWESOME!
I don't know if the fact that I don't wear makeup makes a difference or not.... |

I wash my face once a day at night with cleansing gel. I use tap water to wash my face in the morning. I am curious in the microfiber cloth. Do you wash the cloth daily? |

I wash it out with soap and water after each use and just hang it on my towel rack to dry. |

I always wash twice a day. If I don't wash in the morning my skin gets much oilier in the daytime.
At night I almost always use Dermalogica Precleanse then a gel cleanser...especially if I've worn one of my waterresistant Japanese sunscreens. I have found that most cleansers do not effectively remove Japanse s/s and I end up with blocked pores within a couple of days if I do not remove it with the Precleanse.
In the AM I use OSEA MUD cleanser. |

I read what others had written about the microfibre cloth and as I had some in my cupboard decided to try it.
They are excellent! I'd never thought of using it on my face before, usually for dusting the house But it definately gets any dry skin off of my face and leaves it lovely and smooth. |

sometimes on the weekend, when I get up and dont have to go out, I leave washing my face. But it results in enlarged pores, for me. It gets oily. So I wash twice a day. |

1, In answer to this question, if the sunblock is waterproof you might need the strength of your makeup remover and yes, I would always use my cleanser after the remover.
2, I try to wash my face once a day, at night during the summer months. In the winter I spend more time on my skin care routine and do the full set of cleansing and treating twice a day.
3, You judge the quality of your cleanser by how it leaves your skin feeling and looking. Always use a toner after cleansing to remove any cleanser you didnt rinse off. |

I'm wash my face twice a day also with Skin Balancing Cleanser. I feel really really clean. After I used this line, I have less acne also... |

To make sure I remove all traces of make-up, I use a foaming cleanser at night. But in the morning, to avoid over drying, I just use a non-rinse cleanser. |

I always wash my face twice a day, sometimes three times when Im in a hot humid place.
I too have read that in the morning, there is no need to wash the face as it is not "polluted" but I find that a little bit of cleanser makes my face less oily and has a cleaner feel to it.
I think that its not necessary to use a makeup remover to remove sunblock as the cleanser should do that!
To me, a good cleanser means that it can remove all traces of dirt on the skin, you can feel the skin being cleaner and doesnt make the skin dry and taut after washing.

I also wash my face twice a day. I use cooper peptides in the evening so I like to wash off any cp residue and start with a clean plate for my vitamin C products in the AM. In the morning a use a low ph gentle clarifying cleanser or Epidermx II (I alternate every other day) and at night I use Cetaphil then epidermx II. My skin is more oily than dry so it can handle the cleansing routine with no problems. |
