Although there are tons of reviews for Janson-Beckett's AlphaDermaCE, I haven't seen any for the organic toner; this is a lovely product worthy enough to warrant a standalone review....
My first favorable impression is the packaging. Dark amber glass bottle, so much better for storing actives than plastic! Ingredients are listed right there on the bottle instead of the box, I really like that too!
The second favorable impression stems from the lovely scent of lavender and geranium, it's so fresh without being overly floral, you know?
Aside from the packaging and smell, most important is the effect this has on my skin. I've been using this toner for the last 60 days in conjunction to other JB products. Right after cleansing, I spritz a bit on my hands, then pat all over my face, neck and chest. I don't like to use cotton balls because at $20 for 4oz. I don't want to waste any of this magic potion.
After applying to my face, it feels very refreshed while balancing PH levels. Pores are tightened and I think this is great prep for the other JB products as well. After applying my mineral makeup, I spritz a tiny amount all over my face to "set" the makeup, so this is actually dual purpose product for me!
It's awfully expensive for a toner, but I will continue to purchase, after all I'm worth it!
Ingredients:
Steam distilled water, certified organic floral water of lavender, red raspberry, certified organic herbs of angelica, chamomile, ginger, hibiscus, sage, thyme, certified organic aloe vera, Hawaiian seaweed, polysorbate 20, geranium essential oil, vegetable glycerine, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, allantoin, lavender essential oil, potassium sorbate, methylparaben, propylparaben. |

Thanks for the review, Athena123! Do you also use JB cleansing milk? |

Hi jumping, no I haven't tried their cleansing milk, I tend to lean towards any cleanser with BHA's... Have you tried it, how is it? JB's a great line all around and I never would have known about it were it not for EDS! |

Thanks for the review.
I'm not a toner gal, but the ingredients in this one look wonderful!

No, I haven't. I think about trying it since I'm looking for non-expensive good quality cleansing milk. I bought JB products for my mom a few weeks ago, so I hope it'd work for her. |
