The weather is getting cooler in Sydney and with it my skin goes a bit feral.
I am using Beta Glucans, Squalane ALN, Pomegranite oi and Camellia Oil.
I'm also using SAS Marine cream.
can anyone suggest anything else to give my skin a much needed drink.
My skin likes Avene Hydrance Optimal but the effect doesn't last for that long.
Thank you.

Thank you.
I do drink less when it's coller so I'll try to keep up my intake.
I also have oil of primrose and fish oil capsules which I forget to take - I will get them out.

Hi Emma2006 - What happened? I thought it was just a few months ago when you told us your skin was looking so good. Is it just the weather? |

Hi Emma2006,
I, too suffer from dry, flaky skin in the cooler months. Here's an at-home remedy that I use from time to time that softens that dry, flaky facial skin.
Soak gauze or cotton pads in pineapple juice and apply to the face for 10 minutes. The enzyme in pineapple, bromelain, helps to dissolve dead skin. After rinsing it off, apply a thin layer of plain yogurt or buttermilk to soften the skin and leave it on for 15-20 minutes.

I get the same problem when the weather starts to change. I think having long HOT showers in winter really contribute to my dry skin in winter. Its so hard to get out the shower though when its cold!
My skin will feel totally stripped when I bath or shower too long. |

my skin does this too! My skin gets all dry and flaky when the season's change either from warm to cold or from cold to warm. Now that it is spring and summer is comming around the corner, the weather has been changing and i've experienced my skin reacting weird due to the climate. My skin has been really dry the past couple weeks as it is transitioning from cold to hot... so strange. |
