LOVE LOVE the Signs Dual Mask from SKII. Pricey yes. 60 quid for a box of 6 but if you had a professional mask it probably would cost more. The mask comes in a packet with dual colour - the top for the forehead, cheek area and the bottom bit for the under the chin/jaw area. For those who have used the Intensive Source mask this one is 100% better. The mask is soaked in vitamin enriched whatever but less gloopy than Intensive Source. Best of all is that it works! The chin area was definitely drained of puffiness and looked tighter and the skin glowy for a few days after. Definitely a repeat purchase and worth the price!
I have also been using the Skin Refining Treatment every other night for 3 weeks. This night cream to be used after cleansing is best for tightening pores and overnight exfoliation. I wanted something specifically for pore tightening and this was recommended. So far, thumbs up!!!! Pores definitely smaller, a bit of purging but in a controlled way that lasted one or two days. Also like all SKII products, evens skin tone, reduces redness and makes the skin more even. It it best to alternate this with a regular night cream or moisturiser and skip any other product like FTE when using this.

I do use FTE before Skin Refining Treatment and apply light moisturizer (SK2 Clear Solution) after it. But perhaps it would be more effective if used alone. I have combi skin with oily T-zone. |

i was told to use the FTE under, but not to use any moisturiser *over* the Skin Refining Cream as it nullifies the exfoliating.
alas, even then it wasn't enough for my breakout-prone, big-pored face. it was lovely, just too gentle. this may be something i'll try again in winter (if my current experiment proves too harsh) but with summer coming, it's just not strong enough. |

Hmmnnn using FTE with it proved a bit much for me but maybe I need to wait a bit before applying the refining treatment. I am always piling things on during the week in a haste. Yep I was told not to use a moisturiser with it and only use at night in place of a night cream. So far it has really tightened my pores and brightened up the complexion. Odd La Vie because I was thinking good for summer;can't do in winter!
As much as I love FTE I am becoming bored of the poor packaging and application. Can't they do it in a mist or something? I guess the glass bottle is necessary but the the whole slapping it on my face with hands is not very appealing. I was suggested to use cotton wool but then it soaks up so much I feel like I am wasting it. |

despite certain sensitivities, i have rhino hide skin and need strong products to keep my acne at bay. if using FTE under it is too much, then by all means skip it!
i've put FTE into little spritz bottles for travel and never noticed any decrease in performance. you might want to try that.
i personally don't mind slapping it on with my hands because i kind of wring them out after to get the remnants on the back of my hands and i think it's helping even out their tone. i'm not quite vain enough to use a separate product, but all left-overs from my face are welcomed! |

la vie (there is a movie out!)
How could I be so dumb. I use all my leftover samples etc on my hands, including (you will be ill) my SKII eye signs full size tube I got for free (becuz it was rubbish!)
You make an excellent point. I'll just make sure to rub it into my hands! |

I think if you wait about 30 mins after applying the Skin Refining Treatment, you should be able to apply moisturizer. Apparently, most of the exfoliation for the AHA/BHA products is done after this period of time. |

Thanks Mlrox. I do bore people here with my softening jawline and how much it irritates me. I swear I am getting a double chin when I look down. As an update, after I use the Signs mask, poof! like magic my jawline is back to the way it was ten years ago! The mask is fantastic. I am using the Skin Refining a couple times a week and after waiting, use a tiny bit of LXP night moisturiser on top. So far it has made a dramatic difference to pores. |
