Another gem from Trader Joe's. 8 oz. bottle of this 100% vegetarian, cruelty-free shaving cream costs less than $5.00 USD. The smell is lovely, but not so strong that guys can't use this as well!
The packaging is perfect...plastic squeeze tube with the cap on the bottom so the cream is always ready to go.
The consistency is just like a body cream; when you smooth it onto your legs prior to a shave it stays put! . Not only do I get a closer shave with this cream, but my legs are left smooth and soft. Razor knicks and cuts have definitely been reduced since I started using this!
Lot of lovely ingredients in this product: [please excuse any typos, entering this exactly as I read it on the back of the bottle]
Purified water, sodium methyl cocoyl taurate, sodim coco-sulfate, vegetable glycerin, glycol distearate, cetyl alcohol, organic aloe vera leaf juice, tocopherol(vitamin E), oleth-3, hydroxyethylcellulose, organic chamomilla recutita(matricaria) extract, acrylate/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, organic lavandula angustifolia(lavendar) extract, peg-150 disterate, xanthan gum, organic camellia sinsnsis(green tea) extract, allantoin, panthenol(pro-vitamin B5), pehnoxyethanol, benzyl alcohol, organic echinacea purpurea extract, potassium sorbate, botanical fragrance. |

Oops, I posted before in the wrong TJs thread!

There was a recent review of Alba's similar shave creams, and we discussed this one too. Here's the link:

When I first checked the TJ's packaging their formulation still contained parabens, but it looks like they've updated. I'm going to have to give this a try now! |
