Just wondering how you all discovered EDS. I never knew there's such thing as a skincare/makeup forum. I came across EDS by accident when I was searching for Yon-Ka's products on Google. EDS came up and offered them at very reasonable price (plus international shipping) compared to other companies. I placed my first order and joined EDS that day and haven't left since. |

I found EDS when I was looking at an article about the best eye cream and it contained a product that I had never heard of. I googled the name and up popped EDS. There was a mention of that eye cream in EDS and I was glad that I found EDS because the ladies here said that it was a dud. |

I came across it when I was searching for a Canadian online retailer for Dermalogica. That was just over a year ago. |

interesting topic andaman_gypsy!!!
i discovered EDS before i became a member and before my hormonal acne, so i wasnt THAT interested in skincare.
but as my skin got worse, i read elsewhere that DDF was a really good line that specialises in acne treatment...the only place to sell this was in london (i think) and cos i live miles from london, i began searching for it on google.com than google.co.uk and so im here!!!
cos the products are generally cheaper, free gifts and free shipping. even with customs charges, overall it works out cheaper to buy on EDS.
as for the forum, this is the only place that has genuine info...as i have been on other forums and most of the members were mucking about but the replies on here are helpful and informative
so if i didnt have hormonal acne i wouldnt have found EDS...dont really know whether thats a good or bad thing! |

I was on another forum (not related to skincare) and someone posted about EDS. I asked what EDS stood for and they gave me the link..which of course, I clicked. And then I went back and thanked them profusely! |

I was searching for Dr Renaud products, because the girl that did my facials stopped carrying that line and I was convinced it was the only thing that would keep my skin clear. Of course since I started reading forum, I've stopped using all the Dr Renaud products except for the cleansers and I've been able to stop going to facials. All the more $ to spend on all the new products I've discovered. |

I don't remember if it was through a google search (probably some brand of skin care) or through MUA or spectacularskincare board. |

I was googling for the best price on Decleor Ylang Ylang oil. It was only $43 on EDS back then vs. $63 on Sephora. At first I was hesitant to order from a spa in Canada who was selling something so much cheaper than other places. Then I noticed the forum link and it was all over at that point |

I was looking for information on growing eyebrow hair back faster with castor oil. I googled and came across a link for here.
I have also found a lot of other very good information about skincare, as well as a lot of products and companies I had never heard of before. |

I think I was looking for St Tropez fake tan and found the EDS store front via Google. Then somehow discovered the forum after a while (it wasn't as well integrated into the EDS site as it is now) and the first post I made was a review of a Skinceuticals Serum 10
Well, that's my recollection of it anyway, it was a while ago |
