Hi ladies, thanks to all I've learned here at EDS, my skin is almost completely clear [except for those horrible monthly cysts] - I've gone from very oily, acne-prone shiny with large pores to oily, glowy with small pores in only 6 months!
I added AlphaDermaCE to my routine about 2 months ago with great results... forehead lines are noticeably shallower and I love adding all these great antioxidants to my skin!
If I start adding PSF Vitamin A at night and Vitamin C in the morning, will that help fade acne scares and promote smoother skin? Is that too much on top of what I'm already doing?
Thanks, |

You should be OK adding the C serum but don't start the vit a at the same time. Wait a week ot two and then start adding it slowly. It should help with scarring a bit though you may need to eventually use something stronger vit A wise.

Think I read something about using Vit C during the day and A at night, I'll look through those threads for more details - thanks guapa for your input, I don't want to do TOO much to spoil what seems to be working, but as my skin gets better I just keep on raising the bar.... |

Yes, you definitely want the C in daytime because it helps with photo-protection and retinols of any kind get degraded in sunlight as well as causing photosensitivity. If you do use any retinol product you must use a good sunscreen. Some members (I think Molly?) stopped using retinols because sunlight made her melanasma much worse.
I know what you mean about bar raising but you should be ok with that combo but just introduce the A slowly after you have become used to the c because both of them can cause some irritation to start with. |

If AlphaDermaCE already contains C already, why do you want to use a separate C-serum again. Too much could lead to skin irritation. |
