I purchased this over the weekend so i've used it in a couple different combos...i will say that it is a bit thick and a pale tan/pink color that would no do well on darker skin tones. I am super pale (incase you didnt realize by the spf50) and it looks like a great makeup base on me. The first time I used this I made the mistake of using a moisturizer then this then a primer and a foundation...I felt like I was wearing a mask and it looked bad! THen I tried this and a light dusting of mmu which was nice but i have lots of scars so I needed a conc as well. Anyway...long story short this stuff lasts through heat and working out but it does feel very thick and heavy.
I would repurchase bc its rare that a spf does not break me out. |

I've used this sunscreen for about 3 weeks and absolutely LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it.
I used way toooooooooo much the 1st time using it and I looked like a Geisha. But after few times and adjust to the right amount to use I just could not live without it.
I have pretty normal skin not acne prone AND I like to use a little bit rich cream / sunscreen so I don't find this sunscreen heavy or thick at all. I'm using a Vit-C serum, Julie's TCA Latte Peel, another Serum and the sunscreen plus very light finish powder. Looked very natural and good!! |

I *think* they are because neither US or Canada stocks Avene that contains Tinosorb. So all the Avene here with the same names - Creme, Lait all uses only ZnO and TiO as active ingredients. |

The Avene spf 50 cream is one of my favourites!!
My son is very sensitive and he is able to use this sunscreen too because it is chemical free. |

It's so confusing when a company sells so many different similar-sounding formulations! I'm using the Creme Teintee Ultra High Protection SPF 50+ containing Tinosorb which I got from the frenchcosmeticsforless website. (BTW, good customer service from that etailer, though a little slow. He gets product shipped directly from France so it's good and fresh.) It's fairly darkly tinted so it might be a problem for super-pale faced folks, but I'm pretty fair and can use it without a problem. I had been using the Shiseido 50+ sunscreen earlier, but that turned out to be much harder to remove than the Avene is. So far so good...not too greasy feeling and no clogged pores. Although I can't personally judge how effective it is at UVA protection, I can say that I used it in Australia on a trip there and got absolutely no burning or darkening of my melasma spots.
I'm traveling to Germany later this summer and plan to stock up. |

sormuimui, I'm about to purchase the Avene Emulsion SPF 50+ fromwww.skincarecentral.biz , a US-based retailer.
It has Tinosorb M+S, whatever that means. I'm just happy because I can wear MMU over it, without worrying about its effectiveness. |

That's great, please do update how you like it. I'm planning to buy the same as well but I got lucky and found the SPF 40 Cleanance Solaire on Ebay and bought it for 4 euros + shipping . So I'm going to see how I like that first. |
