so i bought the perfect slim patch from L'oreal which is supposed to help get rid of stubborn cellulite. You are supposed to put these sticky patches on areas on your body with cellulite. I bought it for $20 and i open the box to find only 4 patches!! So i put one patch on the back of my thigh (which i have most cellulite) and the another patch on my other thigh. It says on the box that it is advised to leave patches on for 8 hours to see good results. The patches contain caffeine which is an agent to help with cellulite. As i wore these patches, you get a tingly cooling sensation on the area, it can be annoying at times. After i take off the patch, i see absolutely NO difference in the appearance of my cellulite. I try again with my 2 last patches a couple days later, and again no difference in the appearance of cellulite.
The patches are one time use only, and it says on the box to be using this product 2-3 times a week...yikes i can't see myself paying $20 a week for 12 weeks if i havent noticed even the faintest difference in skin appearance from one box. I guess i'll have to try out other anti-cellulite products. Just purchased the Cellex-C anti-cellulite, will keep u guys updated |

Thanks for the review! I always see these types of products and wonder if they could possibly work. I guess I have my answer - at least for now. Let us know when (if) you find one that works!! |

I used L'oreal's sculpting gel last summer. Same, no results could be seen on my cellulite. The gel only made my skin appeared smoother right after, but the effect is short lived. BCgirl, thanks for keeping trying and wishing you could find the one that works soon! |

I saw the patches also and thought about it. I bought the Sublime Gel so we'll see if there are any better results. |

Thank you for the review. I remember that New Beauty magazine suggested this product. Another product I will cross off my list!
Thank you! |

I was wondering about this; my friend is in his second year of chiropractic school right now and they're learning different manipulation techniques in the arms and legs. They are taught to make any massaging gestures AWAY from the heart. The reason being if a person had a blood clot, it could be pushed toward the heart or brain. I always forget to ask him about dry brushing...I know most do it towards the heart. |

I tried these patches and was disappointed, too.
To leave them on for eight hours, you'd have to sleep with them or wear them in public under your clothes. Mine kept falling off!
Maybe I should have used some medical tape, to help them stick, but I was over the whole concept by then |

thanks for the review
to be honest, i havent bought any anti-cellulite or firming creams/lotions etc as i havent really seen any difference before and after the use of them on other people
and dont l'oreal use eva longoria as their spokesmodel for this patch or another long legged beauty? even more sceptical of the effectiveness of this patch then cos i havent seen any signs of cellulite on eva longoria |
