I just bouth the new foundation from Make Up For Ever. Its call Mat Velvet +. Its a replacement for Velvet Oil-free foundation. I have been using it for 2 days. Im pale so I bought the color 20 and its a good match. If you like Teint Idole or Double Wear you would probably like this one. The formula is creamy but goes on thick. I used it the second day with a damp sponge. It covers a lot. Its oil-free and the bottle is the best improvement . It use to be a round glass bottle with a stupid spatula in the middle. This is now a litte plastic squeeze bottle. You also have a lot of color to choose from . If you like the FPS from the previus take note that the remove it from the new formulation.I will keep that foundation for night outs and special day. But for everyday work...its too much .Overall...good purchase. |

I also tried this foundation after being a longtime MAC studiofix wearer, thus hadn't used liquid foundation in a while.
The liquid quickly turns into a matte powder finish, and stayed pretty matte considering my oily skin. I personally found that it made me look too, well, made up! It'd be a bit too much for everyday wear for me, but that might just be my dislike of liquid foundations itself. |
