not sure if it is the same but i watching a taiwan variety program few days ago when i saw 1 of the celebrity talking about a device something like this.
it has a flat head whereby it can help u to soften the dead and hard skin at your heel. according to the celebrity it works very well for her and certainly help to save $ and time as she can DIY pedicure at home on her own.
but another celebrity asked this question ~ in long term, will it result in the skin at your heel getting thinner and thinner?
this is also the question, which i m curious too. |

Thinner heels? and that's bad?
I think just the fact that our heels are constantly rubbing against shoes will be hard to keep that part of the skin thin. |

I could do with one of these!!!
My heels are so cracked, Burt's Bees Coconut foot creme is the best I have tried so far. |

I think I could definitely use one of these too - I always seem to get a lot of dry, thickened skin on my heels, especially at this time of year. I'll look out for that Burts Bees foot cream too though, it looks luscious. |

I have one and have liked it so far, but it has only been a couple of weeks. I like it better than going to get a pedicure because they usually end up hurting my feet when the scrub the areas of my foot that are not rough. With this I can control which areas get scrubbed myself. Maybe I am too sensitive! |

Hi Snowwhite, how does it feel when it goes on your heel? Does it hurt or any chance of hurting myself is I misuse it by accident? I am interested in getting one. Thanks. |

This looks like a great little device!!! I am thinking that it works like a mini-sander??? They don't say how it works, so I will keep watching this thread to see what y'all come up with. Also I like the sound of the BB Coconut cream...haven't seen it here in Canada. |

Wow, that's not a bad price if it works. I have really cracked skin on my heels - I've tried exfoliation, creams, and Lamisil without much success. I'll be watching too ! |

Gehwol Products at EDS are awesome for your feet! Gehwol seems to have a product for any foot aliment you might have. Actually I have purchased Gehwol Medicated Salve for Cracked Feet three times. Believe it or not I use it on my Scotties paws (long story ). As of my last order my DH has been forced to use it. His sandpaper feet are getting soft. I highly recommend the Gehwol line. If you order from EDS you can see if they can send you a sample. I came upon Gehwol by accident. The small tube was offered as a gift many months ago. I have been hooked since. |

Winnie,
Thanks for the suggestion- spring through fall I obsessively work in my yard, as well as clients ( it pays for my plants!), and the result is ugly cracked feet. I hope Gehwol works or me as well.

I like to use this tool on my heels after the shower (when the skin is softer) and then rub L'Occitane 100% Shea Butter on my feet. This seems to work pretty well.
Be careful if you ever use this tool before the shower when the skin is tougher. You are more prone to cutting the skin.
Here's the tool:

Vick's Vapor Rub is great for healing cracked heels. Rub it on your feet before bed and sleep with cotton socks. My feet are soft and pretty for the first time I remember. The first few times I used it, my DH thought I was nuts. |

Thought that I would share I have been having sucess with Coconut oil, I first soak my feet, then use a pumice stone and lastly slather my feet in coconut oil, put on socks then let it work its magic overnight. |

I'm currently loving Candessence's Therapy for the Sole foot butter. It's really rich and creamy, yet it soaks in really well. I've only been using it a few days, and I feel like it's already making a difference in my feet. |

So it seems Coconut oil not only good for hair but for your feet as well. I am going to find some now - from supermarket? |

Please, erase this second post, it happens, because the system said it couldn't submit my post, so I tried again. |
