I bought this a few days back since I really love the Beeswax Lipbalm from them. When I first opened it, I gave it a quick smell ... at first I was "mmmmMmMM banana", but after a while it's really strong smelling! However, the smell doesn't seem to stay on your hands, so that isn't really a negative at all. I also put ALOT on the first time and my hands were a greasy sticky mess! I wasn't too sure how much I liked it. BUT, the next time I used much less and it still spread nicely over my hands and did an awesome job of moisturizing them. So I think the key is less is more with this product. It does still seem to take a little bit of time to sink into your skin, but overall I think I do like this enough to possibly repurchase. I really think this would be perfect in winter, and still useable in summer.
Another great product from Burt's Bees.
However ... just a sidenote ... I also purchased the Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil. I'm not as happy with this because I find it does seem a bit oily on my lips. So I won't repurchase ... I'll stick with the Beeswax Lipbalm which I love! |

I have just finnished my jar of this and it has been my HG handcream, I love the scent it reminds my of Banana Milkshake or Rhubarb & Custard Boiled Sweets.
Left my hands lovely and soft. |

I've heard a lot of positive feedback for BB's lipbalm for coworkers. I'm happy to hear you like it too! |

i've been using the beeswax and almond hand cream.
the cream is quite thick, but spreads nicely and has a strong marzipan smell. it does go on greasy, and i use this cream before bed. after a few minutes it has sunk in though. although my hands will feel lovely soon after, i find it does not last, and after a little while my hands will be dry again.
i think i shall return to aesop hand cream, or jurlique after this. |

Can anyone say how the banana cream compares to the almond cream? I have the almond one now, and I agree that it's quite greasy - best for nighttime only. I'd love to find a non-drying and also non-drying hand cream that smelled tolerable in my small cramped shared office! I don't want to stifle my coworkers with banana, lord knows they've put up with enough weird primping sharing an office with me! |

Very interesting... it seems different countries or regions, carry different "portfolios" of Burt's Bees. I have not seen the Banana Hand Cream in Western Canada. I am always searching for new hand creams to add to my already large hand cream arsenal, but I don't think I'll be able to get my hands on this one! |

If you have a London Drugs, maybe check there. That's where I found it. |
