I saw this in a magazine last night regarding the Olay Pro-X line, and thought it was rather interesting.
Granted, they are using this for marketing purposes, but I think the standards they set for their products are very solid.
The Alliance referred to below is a "team of experts in dermatology, clinical methods, biochemistry, and molecular biology, partnered to form the Alliance. Their combined knowledge resulted in a line of professional products that deliver clinically proven results in 28 days. Guaranteed.*"

Inspired by the latest dermatologic research, technology, and one-on-one patient experiences, The Alliance collaborated to define what a professional skin care line means. The Olay Professional Alliance For Skin Care Innovation Consensus Statement consists of four criteria that define the strict standard of excellence that Olay Professional Pro-X delivers with a customized guarantee — the Olay Professional Promise.
1.Olay Professional Pro-X is a true professional skin care line that meets the following criteria:
- Advanced Science-Driven Innovation
- Professionally Designed
- Professional Regimens and Protocols
- Professionally Tested
- Proven Results
- Peer-Reviewed Communications
2.Olay Professional Pro-X was designed by a team of dermatologists and Olay scientists (The Alliance). The product line is based on advanced science-driven innovation and has been professionally tested and clinically proven to improve the appearance of aged skin.
3.Daily use of the Olay Professional Pro-X Wrinkle Reduction Regimen significantly improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles after 8 weeks of use. See results.
4.Daily use of the Olay Professional Pro-X Wrinkle Reduction Regimen significantly improved skin barrier health after 24 weeks of use as measured by the change in transepidermal water loss.

I hear so much about these Olay products. I will give it a try once I finished one of my serums, they are not so expensive. |
