I, too, am interested in skincare items, tips, etc for "mature" skin. I'm nearly 59 (this summer) and I can't believe how much my skin has changed, even since 55 Clearly my skin has become more thin and my neck has become like chicken skin...and I've been using good products for years. Lately I've been hearing about Jurlique Neck Recovery serum. Does it really have any effect? And this is not to negate any of you younger ladies' comments but we of the "mature skin" society face significantly different issues. I look quite a but younger than my age but there are beginning to be dead giveaways, i.e., the neck! I just started using Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Firm for eyes and I'm not sure of its effects in the long run but I love the way my concealer goes on after it. The crusade never ends.....does it? |

HI Nanapost
Take a look at the thread "50+ neck rings"
Some ppl have had good luck with copper peptides. My best defense was surgery to tighten it up, since all the products and gadgets in the world never helped.
Good luck! |

Thanks fawnie, I guess i have a bit in the way of neck rings but its the loose texture that really bugs me. My hot flashes stopped so maybe I should just look for some higher collars.........surgery, I'm still not there yet, have one more kid to put through college! Thanks for sending me to the "neck thread." |

Thanks Smoky1, the thread is sooo long but I'll persevere and hopefully find some good hints. Its just to be back here with old friends, new friends, all concerned and knowledgeable about skincare. |

Hi Nanapost
It is so nice seeing you post again. We go back a few years. I am still older then you so please hang around and keep us more mature beauties company. W |

Hi Nanapost,
I'm 58 and definitely have issues with my neck: turkey neck, chicken skin and red neck rings - a dead give-a-way to my age. However, for the last few months I've been using a skin roller twice a week and think that this has helped to tighten up and improve the skin. The constant needling really does help to regenerate and thicken the skin. |

Thanks Debster, its so good to hear from people who have been using a product for a while. I would think after 2 months, you would see even a little improvement. |
