I'm always in search for my HG lip balm and I think I just found it in the most unexpected of places - the local drugstore.
I am in love with the new Polysporin Dry Lips lip balm (perfect timing too for the cold weather ahead, and no there is NO antibiotic in the lipbalm despite the manufacturer). It's VERY minty and the texture is perfect, it's soft, and not at all waxy, it feels "cushiony" on the lips.
I am concerned the stuff would melt in summer because it really is a very buttery soft lip balm in a tube, but great in winter - I hate hard waxy lip balms because it's so difficult to apply especially when the weather is so cold.
Ingredients:
Beeswax, coconut oil, sunflower seed oil, lanolin, tocopheryl acetate (Vit E acetate), peppermint oil, tocopherol (Vit E), soybean oil, safflower seed oil, rosemary leaf extract, comfrey leaf extract |

Thanks for the review. I'm impressed with the Polysporin line products for skin healing and now a lip balm I'll have to check it out!! |

i've been considering trying it- do you find that drying your lips by any chance? because i've heard that peppermint oil might do that, but I'm not sure. |

displaced: no drying yet - I'm guessing all the other oils and good stuff in the lip balm help against that. As a warning it is pretty minty when you first put it on... but quickly goes away. |

I just saw an advertisement recently on this line. I had no idea that it has pepperment in it. I would not consider buying it because of that.
Thank you. |
