I've never tried DIY facial cleanser before. I've read somewhere recently about basic ingredients for making facial cleanser for oily skin should contain salicylic acid which prevents the clogging of pores in the skin.
These recipe may help
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon liquid soap
1/2 cup glycerin --> change to salicylic acid
Mix ingredients together in a small bowl until they are fully blended. Pour into a clean plastic bottle. Pour onto clean face sponge or soft cloth and gently rub onto face, wash with warm water.

Here's one that I've made and like:
3 T SAS Canvas cream (I imagine any other clean base cream you like for DIY formulas would work)
1 T Jojoba
1 splash EVOO
1/2 tsp lecithin
I have mildly oily skin and this does not cause me to break out. It takes makeup off beautifully and leaves my skin feeling soft. I follow with ACV toner and then all the rest. I don't use this in the morning though, simply b/c I wash up in the shower and use a mild bar soap there.
