I have been using copper peptides a little over a year and have been through many stages of the uglies (skin sag and pore expansion) without actually coming out to the other side of tighter more robust skin. Something strange though-my skin although saggy w CPs, always had a glow to it. Anyways, I have gone off Copper Peptides completely about a month ago and have noticed a significant tightening and lifting of my skin. This brings me to the conclusion they have been bringing about more damage than good for my skin. Has anybody elso come to this same bypass? I am about to take on Valmont ICCT complex treatment to try and replump and rejuice my skin from Cps and from weight loss. Im really scared these days and rather skeptical to try other skin actives after this episode, maybe I just need some hand-holding. |

I'm confused. You stated that once you stopped using Cp's your skin was tighter and lifted. I don't understand how that damaged your skin. Damaged skin doesn't go back to normal. Was this a case of the "uglies"? I had a problem using the second generation copper peptides. Is that what you used? Sorry for all the questions...I am just wondering. |

Sorry the confusion,I only meant that before Cps my skin was in better condition than while I was on them (Cp and Super Cp). While I was on them even no matter the frequency of usage, My skin seemed to get saggier and saggier and much less plump (but with a rosy glow). Initialy I thought this was from weight loss, but when I decided to give up on the Cps my skin although not as good as before the Cps seemed to replump alittle and lift alittle. The Cps I used were not the new generation, they were the originals. The other odd occurance was I would wake up with this odd taste of medal in my mouth and not sure of long-term copper damage. I hope this all makes sense. |

copper peptides do make your skin go through the uglies first, try only using it everyother day instead of everyday. Sometime you have to go slow.
I do have a client that has used it for 2 years, with great results, no wrinkles now and brighter skin. I have had no uglies yet, so far firmer brighter looking skin. |
